Description of the Stowe vacation home rental
Home sits on 1.4 acres just 2 miles from Stowe village. Near all outdoor recreational activities. Open living floor plan. Living room with cathedral ceiling, lots of windows to let the sun shine in. Furnished, cast iron fireplace for warmth and atmostphere. Kitchen fully equipted, hardwood floors, all recently updated. 4 bedrooms: 3 queen sized beds and two twin beds. Sleeps up to 8 people. Your car will love the garage and there is a deck overlooking a beautiful flower garden and big back yard. This home is a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the mountain air.
Please, not smoking and no cats. There will be an extra deposit for a small dog only.
Area Description
Stowe is Vermont's most popular resort area with skiing in the winter and all winter sports, and summer biking, hiking etc as well. There is 6+ mile bike path for bikes and hikes as well. Main street Stowe is a quaint village with owner operated shops and restaurants. Stowe Mountain Resort has just rebuilt it's ski area with a brand new lodge, restaurants, shops and slope upgrades. Burlington is 45 miles and sits on the banks of Lake Champlain. Morrisville is 10 miles north and has all the local business for many of your common shopping needs and is the home of Lamoille County Chamber of Commerce.
Gentle 6+mile bike path from Stowe village up towards Mount Mansfield. Walk or Bike. Bike rental available.
Stowe offers over 50 restauants, all owner operated.
Shopping includes several art galleries, jewelry shops and boutiques.
