Description of the Stuart vacation home rental

Water, water everywhere! This beautiful beach house is right on the the sand with sweeping views of the ocean from its extra-large comfortable deck. Property runs also to the Indian River with free dockage for your boat included. This unique home is spacious and roomy with space for everyone in your family. Enjoy unobstructed views of sunrise and sunset. Four bedrooms are arranged for privacy and have adjacent full baths. The lower lever would work well for in-laws or maid/nanny.

Dig in the sand, swim in the ocean, look for pretty shells on the beach, and have a great time. Bathtub Beach is a short walk south along the sand and is a wonderful place for small children. You can also enjoy fishing in the ocean surf or off the dock in the Indian River. Try night fishing off the dock for a variety of local fish. Great shopping and restaurants are nearby as well as opportunities for kayak, boat, or waverunner rentals.

Area Information

Hutchinson Island is a beautiful barrier island on the coast of Martin and St. Lucie counties, Florida. It is bounded on the east by the Atlantic Ocean, on the south by the St. Lucie Inlet, on the west by the Indian River, and on the north by the Fort Pierce Inlet.

Bathtub Beach is located on the South end of the island.. It is very popular with families with children because of the calm, shallow pools at water's edge warmed by the sun's rays and protected from the breaking surf by large offshore rock formations.

The House of Refuge is a National Historic Site located on S.E. MacArthur Boulevard just a few houses north of our home.
The Elliott Museum is on N.E. Ocean Boulevard.
Children seem to enjoy the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center across the road from the Elliott Museum.

Perfect for couples only....very quiet area...well layed-out master floor suite...Plenty of room...Worth the premium rental costs..Both bay and ocean water at your front door or back deck...easy access to town of Stuart..Lots of water front dining..
