Description of the Studio City vacation apartment rental

Sequestered among mature trees and set back on a large lot this charming duplex has a feeling reminiscent of New Orleans.
Although located on a quiet residential street access to freeways and the Metro-rail is only a few blocks away. Both units were recently remodeled and are available for short or long term rental.

A cosy home away from home, each unit is fully furnished and includes, quality linens and towels, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, clock/radio/CD and DVD players etc, wireless Internet, satellite TV in both the bedroom and living room, phones with answering machine, a monitored security system, central air and heat and off street parking. Each unit has its own washer and dryer and a private fully fenced and landscaped yard with bubbling fountain, patio furniture and gas BBQ grill.

Fully equipped kitchens with stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, pots and pans, dishes and glassware, baking utensils etc. Basic staples, (tea, coffee, sugar, condiments and spices) provided.

Double sleeper sofa and single rollaway beds available for extra guests. Pack and play crib for infants. Pets are always welcome.

Area Description

Close to major studios, minutes to Universal City; (Universal Studios, Amphitheater, movie complex, City Walk, shops and restaurants); NOHO Arts district; Hollywood Bowl for live outdoor concerts; Griffith Park;(hiking and riding trails and the LA Zoo); Burbank Equestrian Center.
Just a few blocks from the Metro rail station, 1st stop Universal City, 2nd stop Hollywood, (Hollywood Blvd "Walk of Fame", the new Hollywood and Highland complex, Kodak Theater, home of the Oscars, and the famous Graumann's Chinese Theater where you can stand in the footprints of your favorite movie stars etc).
We are located 2 blocks from the Ventura and Hollywood freeways, and 1 block walk to the local supermarket and Starbucks. Lots of great local restaurants on Ventura Blvd just a few minutes away.
A short 10 minutes drive over Laurel Canyon crossing Mulholland Drive will take you down into West Hollywood and trendy Melrose Ave, and just a little further to chic Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive.

Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Mastercard, Money Order, Personal Check, Visa
Check In: 4 p.m.
Check Out: 11 a.m.
Required Stay: flexible
Lodging Tax: 10%
Deposits: Reservation deposit 25% with an additional 25% due 30 days before arrival. 50% deposit required if reservation made less than a month prior to arrival. Balance due on arrival. Calendar not really accurate as there are 2 units. Check with me directly. If the date is blocked out both units are rented for that night. We also have other properties available if you need more room.
Other Fees: Rates are for double occupancy. Additional guests $10 each per night. Infants 2 or under, no charge. Pack and play cribs available Base cleaning fee of $80, plus $5 per additional guest. $25 additional cleaning fee for the furry guests. ***Please contact me for availability. There are 2 apartments and calendar is only marked off if both apartments are booked for the same night.***

The Studio City Garden Suite was spectacular, -- the perfect size with great amenities, a well-stocked kitchen, lovely linens and immaculately clean. The private garden was a bonus and we love everything about the rental.

My sister and I truly loved our stay. The unit is located in a safe, pretty neighborhood that was cozy, comfortable, and clean. We especially loved the darling garden where we were able to relax and enjoy the warm California sun. We were able to leave the cold and snow in Nebraska for a week, which was most wonderful. I can highly recommend staying at this darling vacation rental and will stay again in the future.

We have stayed in apartments all over Europe and the US in the past and most have been really good, but none has been better than this one. We stayed in the upstairs unit and it was extremely well-equipped, comfortable and a lovely,relaxing place to come back to at the end of each day. It was well-placed for sightseeing and well-served by shops and restaurants. The thing that made it stand out most, however, was Helen's eagerness to make sure that we had everything we needed and to help make our stay a good one. We would unreservedly recommend this property to anyone.

This place is amazing. My family stayed for 4 days and loved it. The owner is extremely nice and gracious. The place is clean, furnished, and has homey touches that make it feel like a bread and breakfast. It is fully equipped, even has some food, and a nice yard to relax in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
