Description of the Sugar Island vacation cabin rental

Cozy and quiet, this log cabin is tucked into the woods...the perfect spot for the relaxation you go on vacation for. One large bedroom or 2 small rooms sleeps 5 with room for 2 or more in the loft.

Get away from it all on beautiful Sugar Island...just a short ferry ride from Sault Ste. Marie in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Local attractions inlcude 3 casinos with big name entertainers, Soo Locks, Thunder Falls Water Park, Mackinaw Island, Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Whitefish Point, I-500 Snowmobile Races, Lake Superior State University, salmon and walleye derbies and more, all close enough for easy day trips. The area has miles of sandy beaches and snowmobile trails, great for hunting, fishing and birding, too.

This is the first time my family has rented a cabin and we had such a good time we have already booked our vacation for next year. The setting was perfect...very quiet when we wanted quiet with lots of things to do close by. We loved it!
