Great Ski Vacation House

Great house for ski vacation. We loved the house and is very reasonably priced. We looked at other locations that were hundreds of $$ more that paled in comparison. We stayed at the house to ski at Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. The house has all the amenities you need including sleds and snowshoes . It is only 2-3 miles from Sugarbush (Lincoln Peak base), about 10 miles to Mad River Glen, and 6 miles to Waitsfield. The owner was very friendly and had some good local information to help us out. The house has a great view and is somewhat secluded. Sledding is close by. The fireplace and propane stove were great for ambiance (the floorboard heating was fine by itself). The mud room area provides great space for skis, boots, etc. I would definitely stay here again. The only drawback for young kids is the ladder-like steps to the loft bedroom. Our kids were 6 and 9 and had no problems, but may be a concern.

It is a very lovely home . Warm and inviting. We had plenty of room for our two families. The house was clean and the owner was so nice and responsive to any of our concerns or questions. We would stay there again.

Our week at this peaceful retreat was wonderful. We loved the mountain views and the lovely home. The owner was very helpful and accomodating. We hope to return next year.

Wonderful ski chalet on mountan top overlooking valleys, large windows, warm fireplace and comfortable furnishings. Great location less than 1/2 mile from Sugarbush slopes. A very nice alternative to resort condos. Definitely recommended for families for a quiet comfortable getaway.

Other than the steep and snowy driveway giving my southern heart palpitations, my family and I enjoyed the house, surrounding property, and everything about it. It was perfect. And, for the record, we made it up and down the driveway just fine.

i was suppose to stay at this property christmas week. with only a couple of weeks to go my son dislocated his shoulder snowboarding and i had to cancel the trip. i called the owner harley and explained my situation. he then got on the phone and called around to some of his regular renters to see if they could rent his place for that week. harley found someone to rent his property and returned my deposit. : ) just wanted to say thank you once again and i will keep your place in mind for my future snowboarding trips. anyone with that kind of thoughtfulness and honesty is worth renting from.

The home at Warren was very nice. Everything was clean and ready for us to enjoy. The owner called to check on us and to offer suggestions on what to do around the area. We enjoyed our stay and plan to visit Vermont again!
