This 1100 square foot treasure is nestled in the middle of a lovely 3 acre meadow, in the heart of the beautiful Skykomish River Valley.

Wildlife often pauses to feed here – deer are abundant, as are many species of wild birds. Once in awhile a healthy looking coyote or two breezes across the meadow in the early morning or evening hours. Often at night you can hear their songs echo across the valley, and when the moon is full, it is an ethereal experience.

The display of stars in the dark night sky is breathtaking. You can sit on the front porch bathed in the light of a million stars, listening to the sounds of the wild creatures that call this valley their home. Awesome!!

Later in the summer, there are wild blackberries and blueberries to pick – enough to make jam or freeze and enjoy during the long winter months.

This cozy meadow retreat has wood floors, brickwork and natural wood framing throughout. The floor to ceiling windows offer pleasant views of the meadow and the mountains across the valley. There are 2 very comfortable, well appointed bedrooms, and the bathroom is fully supplied with thick, fluffy towels and all the complimentary toiletries you would expect at a fine establishment. The kitchen contains all the tools and appliances you could need to whip up a nourishing country meal, or just a simple salad for 2. The home is lovingly cared for and sparkly clean. In addition to satellite HDTV, internet is now available as well so you can easily keep in touch with those folks left behind in the city!

This home is located 2 miles north off the Steven’s Pass Highway in the Sultan Basin, an area filled with natural beauty and many recreational opportunities. The Wild Sky Wilderness area is just 15 miles away up Highway 2, and the Steven’s Pass ski area can reached within 40 minutes – 34 miles. Hunting, hiking, and fishing opportunities are just minutes away at Spada Lake or in the Snoqualmie National Forest. Relaxing and enjoying the peace of a beautiful country meadow are just outside your door!
