Description of the Sun Valley vacation home rental

This wonderful 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house is the perfect place to relax in and from which to base all of your Sun Valley adventures. Warm up next to the rock fireplace on the marble hearth or look out of the floor to ceiling windows to watch skiers on Baldy and Dollar mountain. The kitchen and laundry areas have brand new appliances and have been completely renovated to include heated floors. The kitchen is complete and equipped with cookware, dishware, utensils and basic supplies. Linens are provided along with a washer and dryer.

The first master bedroom has a king bed and a beautifully remodeled bathroom with shower. A second room contains two twin beds and a third has one twin and one queen bed. Downstairs there is a one bedroom "apartment" with a queen bed, a bathroom and shower, and kitchenette with a table, fridge, sink and microwave oven.

An additional common bathroom on the main floor includes a tub and shower.

The private 6 person hottub is just steps outside the backdoor and looks upon Bald Mountain and up to the amazing central Idaho skies.

High-speed wireless internet acess is included at the house - so bring your laptop.

Lodge ammenity access is included with house rental and provides the unlimited use of the Sun Valley Lodge's incredible pools, fitness center, and locker rooms (and also provides discounted golfing green fees and tennis court rentals) This gives you the best of both worlds - the luxury of the Lodge facilities and the comfort and privacy of a beautiful private home.

We are pet-friendly with prior approval.

The open space of Penny Hill borders the yard and overlooks Ketchum on one side and Sun Valley on the other. Hike it for wildflowers in the spring or climb up and sled right down to the house in winter (sleds are in the garage). A wide paved bike/pedestrian path runs from the front of the house to the Sun Valley Lodge (less than 500 yards) and over into downtown Ketchum (1/2 mile). The snowshoe and crosscountry ski trails start across the street. A free shuttle bus runs in front of the house and goes to the main ski lodges at Baldy and downtown Ketchum.

Whether it is for business or pleasure - this house is central to it all. A perfect location for the SVCA Wine Auction in July, the Trailing of the Sheep Festival in October or the Swing & Dixieland Jazz Festival.

House rental includes a Sun Valley Lodge recreation pass for guests to access Lodge pools (two heated round pools and an olympic pool), the fitness room and locker rooms (sauna) and provides discounted golfing greens fees and discounted tennis court rentals.
