pleasant stay

We had a very nice and comfortable stay at Marenas. The beach was wonderful and Joe provided us with good service. Keeping us from giving a 5 star rating is the poor, poor, poor valet parking....make sure you get there at least 15 min before you want to leave. Leaving tips doesn't improve service, believe me, we tried. All in all we probably return here some time and we would recommend it to our friends.

It is a lovely Penthouse apartment with a spectacular view. The Jacuzzi on the roof is an important bonus, and we used it every day. The kitchen is fully equipped. The hotel is good for families, but if you are looking for action go to South Beach. For us it was great and we would definitely come back.

GREATEST SPOT ON SUNNY ISLES

We were very happy to return again to Le Meridien in Sunny Isles. The staff at this hotel is great. I've seen other opinions about this hotels pool, but you now what, you pretty much have the pool to yourself. Most people just go right on the beach, which is 50 feet from the pool. The best time for the sun is from 11am to 3pm, after that their is a huge shadow. The restaurant, no longer BICE restaurant is just ok. They are new and need to improve the serving time, but the food was good. You are close to everything around the hotel. Large grocery, Publix, Denny's Restaurant, Tony Toma's, Walgreens and Aventura Mall(about 2 minutes by car). You can read any other reviews about any other hotels in the area, but you will always come back to this hotel. I hope anyone that thinks about a vacation is thinking about Le Meridien.
