Description of the Sunriver vacation cabin rental

Comfortable home with hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, bikes and BBQ. Conveniently located near Sunriver Village and across from the SHARC, Sunriver's newest indoor/outdoor water park and year-round tubing hill.

Sleeps 6: Master with new memory foam queen bed; 2nd bedroom with double bed and new memory foam twin bunk beds.

Each bedroom includes TV/Cable and second bedroom includes an assortment of toys.

Free WIFI.

Private hot tub located on back deck with great night time view of the stars.

Wood-burning fireplace (wood included).

Open living area - living, dining, kitchen - features wood-burning fireplace (stocked with wood), TV and DVD player, a wide selection of DVD movies, games, books and iPod docking speakers.

Home is located on private cul-de-sac, great for kids to ride bikes and play.

Area Information

Sunriver is a 3,340-acre resort and residential and recreation oriented community located 15 miles south of Bend in Central Oregon. Sunriver is a perfect family destination vacation with miles of biking trails, activities for kids including the new SHARC aquatic center, Sunriver Village with a variety of restaurants, shops and year-round activities. The Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory offers fun for all ages.

During summer months, go rafting, kayaking and boating on the Little Deschutes River in the heart of Sunriver, or at the many Cascade Lakes and Reservoirs along the Cascade Scenic Byway. Sunriver has three golf courses, plus additional golf opportunities are just a short drive from the Village.

Winter is a beautiful time in Sunriver, with a short drive to world-famous skiing at Mt. Bachelor, as well as miles of cross country trails in Sunriver and near Mt. Bachelor.

Oh so awesome!!!

We had a great time at 7 Otter Lane, in Sunriver!!! The photos of the house were so accurate. Every room was exactly as it looked in the pictures. We got to the house earlier than check-in was scheduled and had no problem with checking in. Thanks to the owner allowing us early access. We had gone to the grocery store in Bend, later realizing that the store at Sunriver is very well equipped and has comparable prices to the larger store. We were very happy that the store so close to the house was a great place to shop, also!! Now, back to the wonderful house on Otter Lane...AMAZING!!! Everything was easy to find well laid out. We used the hot-tub and took a walk to the SHARC facility. We did not take advantage of the passes, but would if we had been there in the summer!! The house had everything I needed to prepare meals, other than a large fry pan, not a problem, if we do this again we will know to bring our own large skillet. The beds were very comfortable with the memory foam mattresses on them. And plenty of blankets to keep warm on cold nights, not that we got cold...the fireplace was great. Lots of firewood made available to us was incredible, my family loves wood heat, so we had a fire most of the time! All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend this home to anyone wanting a nice getaway!! Thanks for all the amenities in this home!!!

Thanks, Teri. I'm glad you and your family enjoyed our home. Sunriver is such a great place in the winter to play in the snow or be cozy inside, especially with a warm fire burning. Sunriver Village has so many amenities - grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, ice skating rink, plus the SHARC across the street from our house. Thanks for the feedback on the large frying pan. Q:What is the SHARC?

A:It's Sunriver's newest indoor/outdoor water park and tubing hill - and it's located across the street from our new home. The indoor pools are open year-round with lots of fun for kids, such as a bubbling pool, whirlpool and water basketball. In the summer, the outdoor area features water slides, a lazy river, a log crossing and lots of swimming. The outdoor tubing hill runs year-round, with a silicon-based hill and tubes.

Q:What should we bring?

A:Towels for the SHARC. Your favorite foods. A variety of clothes for warmer days and cooler nights.

We have most of what you need for a comfortable stay, such as a coffee pot, toaster, microwave, cooking oils, spices, coffee, linens and towels for our hot tub, toys, games, books, a wide selection of DVD movies.

Q:What should we do in Sunriver?

A:If you love the outdoors, you'll enjoy walking, running or biking along its miles of paved paths. Or, take a longer hike or mountain bike ride to Benham Falls and look for otters as you cross over the Little Deschutes River.

Nothing beats looking at the clear high desert night sky, and the Oregon Observatory at Sunriver has great night programs.
