Description of the Sunriver vacation home rental
At 1578 sq ft, our home is one of the largest 2 bedroom homes in Sunriver. We've packed our home with great amenities including a Sundance hot tub with massage jets for your back, your feet, and even the backs of your knees. The hot tub can fit 6 adults comfortably.
We also provide 6 free passes for unlimited use of the Sunriver SHARC Aquatic Center, north pool and tennis courts. We have 5 adult bikes of varying sizes. We also provide tennis rackets and tennis balls. We have a grill outside for your use.
We have 3 TV's (one is a 42" flatscreen in the living room), 2 DVD players, 2 VCR's, Playstation 2, games for the Playstation, board games, DVD's, VHS tapes, books. There is also a computer with high speed internet and wi-fi connection if you travel with a laptop.
We upgraded all the appliances in the kitchen in the Fall of 2005 - new refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, glass stovetop, oven, waffle maker, coffee maker, smoothie maker, crockpot, blender. We also added brand new dishes, glasses and silverware!
We have two large bedrooms and two bathrooms. The River Room (decorated after the Deschutes River) has a king size bed and the Volcano Room (decorated after all the local volcanos) has a queen size bed. Both mattresses were added in Spring 2005 and have a foam egg crate top and mattress cover. We regularly buy new sheets and towels and they are always 100% cotton with 400-600 thread count sheets.
We provide a port-a-crib and high chair to make traveling with little ones easier. Finally, there is a new full size washer and dryer inside.
The living room has two full size couches (one is a sofa bed). It's a large living area that opens into the dining room with seating for 6. Our dining room table is new, hand made from rustic wood by a couple in Sunriver. We also have a bar area and two bar stools.
We accept credit cards for fast and convenient payments.

Cozy, cozy, cozy.

Sunriver is pretty much shut down this time of year which is exactly what my wife and I wanted. This is such a nice place to relax and enjoy some quiet with a great fire and hot tub. Eric and Tanya thought of all the necessities. We hardly left this cozy house but can't wait to come back in the summer and try some of the other activities. Thanks guys!

We enjoyed every minute of our butternut retreat. From the games, to the tv, to the hottub, my children never wanted to leave. We especially enjoyed being able to ride bikes daily. We will definitely use this home when we return to Oregon for our next vacation.

Fun in the Snow!

We drove over from Portland and had a great time at the Butternut Retreat! The house is a nice cozy house nestled in Sunriver. Great for a couple, 2 couples, or even a small family.

Really clean. Everything is labeled for easy use. Lots of windows and comfortable furniture (including the beds!) and a well-stocked kitchen. Seemingly endless supply of games and DVDs/videos. The hot tub is awesome with foot jets and head rests. They've thought of everything to make our stay just wonderful.
The Butternut Retreat is a fantastic place to stay for two couples (and a small child) or a single family. Everything has been thought of by the owners. From the hot tub to the waffle iron, it was as if we never left home. Exceptionally clean--as if the maid just left before we arrived. Truly deluxe accomodations for a VERY reasonable price. We will definitely return!
This home is fully furnished, (wonderful kitchen amenities!) very comfortable, better than described on the website! We enjoyed the bikes, the hot tub, the movies, games and books--and were able to relax and have a great time! The kids loved the playstation; there was plenty of bedding, towels, etc., and we will recommend it to our friends! Thanks!!!
My Husband and our dogs(Willie and Bronson, stayed four nights at butternut. The house was wonderful. We cooked all our dinners there and found everything we needed. The hot tub was wonderful. We are not hot tub people normally, but we almost left there wanting one of our own. The bed was very comfortable and liked that there was a fan provided. We always sleep with a fan. We think it would be nice to be there when there is snow next time. Thank you for a very plesant relaxing vacation rental.
Butternut Retreat is a quaint house, with more space than the pictures show. Everthing in the house is in working order and very clean. Everything about our stay was a pleasant experience and we look forward to staying here again.
