Description of the Surfside Beach vacation home rental

This is a newly renovated (new wall to wall carpet, new kitchen, furnishings and paint) beach cottage style home in a gated community with large front deck and less than a block from a new community center and indoor heated pool and three blocks from an outdoor pool. House is walking distance from a private beach entrance and golf carts are available for rent. Home is large enough to accomodate one large family, two small families or a large golf group.

Area Information

Located right on the main beach strip with 1700 restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. If golf is your passion, choose from 100's of tournament courses throughout Myrtle Beach or enjoy some family time at the many miniature golf courses. There is even a pro Par-3 course right out the gate. Also enjoy the shopping at Broadway at the Beach and the many outlet stores or cool off at the water park just north of the village. After a busy day, Enjoy one of over 1700 restaurants located on Murrels Inlet and throughout Myrtle beach.

great location

awesome location, easy access to restaurants, shops etc. plenty to do inside the 'village' from free yoga to the indoor pool. However, this unit did not have central heal but old fashioned window heat/ac units, 2 of which did not work. i understand this is supposed to be fixed in the spring.

A Great Place to Vacation...

We loved this place. It was just what a beach house should feel and look like. It was a older house that they have fixed up and decorated to a cozy beach house feel. Everything was there that we needed from a can opener to a large pot for cooking. Plenty of towels and ocean fun toys. Magazines and books. The outside has a nice little deck with BBQ grill and table and chairs. The gated community people were welcoming. My husband taught the water aerobics class the week we were there. The home is set up to house many people. The ocean is just down the road and with your entrance card you can park next to the best restaurant and ocean front at the same time. Remember to get your card from the office before 5:00 on Sat because they are closed on Sun. If you get locked out of the bathroom the key is on the main house key chain. There is an outside shower for sandy children and a large trash bin all of your own. The play ground is also great and it is just a few seconds away next to the indoor pool. The outdoor pool is only a little bit further. We are thinking of moving here in the next couple of years. We also visited the Boardwalk. This is a great place to go. But must be driven to. Go on hwy 17 to 3rd street where the boardwalk begins. We rode the Large farris wheel and rode the rides. Best vacation every.
