Description of the Surfside vacation home rental

4 story house with a 360 degree view of the beach and the harbor behind it. This house has 4 floors and the 5th is a deck with a bar that has a jacuzzi tub and beautiful view. The house is less than 50 steps from the sand. Surfboards and boogie boards available for your use.

Area Information

White sand beach that is cleaned weekly. Wonderful resturants and night life very close by. Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm within 15 miles. Queen Mary-1 5 miles away.
Hollywood is only 40 miles away.

Excellent Beach Getaway

Great space for a family vacation. The owners were very accomodating and provided a very comfortable environment, it felt like we were at home. The house is very close to the beach, virtually private and walking distant to great restaurants. With teenage kids the house is laid our such that the kids could have their own space if they wanted, yet the main living area was very spaceous to accomodate the family and guests. One of the highlights of the property is the roof top with protected area to end the day and escape the wind. In addition you can sit in the jacuzzi at night and watch the Disneyland fireworks. We definitely want to return next year.

What a great get away! My husband and I vacationed at the beach while growing up in So. Cal and wanted to share that experience with our kids. This place did not disappoint! We have 2 teen age daughters, who were able to invite friends to come visit and still spend time with us. The house is great but the best features are the proximity to the beach and the roof top deck with a hot tub. The owner was great to deal with and the house was perfect for our needs. My only complaint is that the vacation went by too fast!

The positives: Good amount of space with 3 bedrooms. Sleeps six comfortably in three beds and two on couches or mats. The house is not directly on the beach but has quick and easy access through the adjacent row of homes across the street. The home was clean and the Owner is a super nice person who was very accommodating. There were plenty of towels and dishes and many needed items already in the refrigerator and pantries. You most definitely get your daily exercise going up and down the stairs. The Owner also gives access to two bicycles and boogie/surf boards, plus there is a hot tub on the roof with a cute bar and a beautiful view from all sides. Very nice stay that was located close to Long Beach/Queen Mary, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Balboa, etc.

Great place to relax and enjoy the beach

This was our first stay and we had a great time! The house is very nice and the owner does a great job in making you feel at home. There is plenty of room and it is extremely clean. The private beach is the best! No crowds and not a long distance to carry towels, snacks, chairs, etc. Just a few steps from the front door to the beach. You can't ask for much more. The community is very quiet, yet there is a lot to do as well. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Also, if you can take your bike, you can ride for miles down the coast on a bike trail. We would definately stay again.

Our whole family (ages 4 to 62) enjoyed a great vacation just a few steps away from a very clean and private beach. The house was lovely and comfortable and the gated community made it all quite secure. It was easy to get our kite to sail, sun bathing and barbecuing on the roof was a novelty for us, and the dolphin-watching was a fun extra.

What a great vacation. The house is beautiful, spacious, and so relaxing. The view is spectacular. We have rented beach homes and this is the best!! We will be definetly be going back. The balcony is unbeleivable and so relaxing. We had everything and more.
