Description of the Surprise vacation home rental

We would like to invite you to enjoy our home in sunny Surprise, AZ. (North West Phoenix)

Soon to be HEATED POOL! Make your reservations for the Fall or Winter.

Or come now with air fare cheap and the Grand Canyon just 31/2 hours away

Wouldn't it be nice to sit under the waterfall with your iced tea or drink of choice on those hot August nights?

Relax in the back yard by a saltwater pool with a waterfall, gas BBQ and fire pit. Lots of seating in the sun and shade. Comfortable and clean home in a friendly and nice neighborhood.

Come for Golf, NASCAR, Baseball, Tennis, Horse Racing and just relaxing in the sun.

Convenient walking to Albertson's, Safeway, Dunkin Donuts, restaurants, and more.
A park is down the street and others a few blocks away.
Surprise Park is 4 miles away with lots of room to run and play for the kids and even a pond stocked with fish.

Horse Racing: Turf Paradise is 30 min. away with racing Oct - May

Spring Training: Feb and March

We are surrounded by golf courses.

Wildlife World Zoo is 7 miles.

Lake Pleasant is 26 mi. for boating and swimming.

Octane Raceway, winner of four Best Go Kart Racing awards from the Phoenix New Times' is 40 min away.

Sedona and Red Rock Canyon are just 2 hours away with lots to see and do. Including Jerome with it's Haunted Hamburger restaurant, most delicious and a great view from the outdoor deck.

The spectacular South Rim of the Grand Canyon is only 3 1/2 hours away and can be done in one day. Take off early and get there in time to do a walk with a Ranger. Then take the shuttle buses to the different look outs and you'll have a wonderful memory of one of the 7 wonders of the world.

Going South, Tucson is 21/2 hours with Pima Air and Space Museum, the third largest in the nation and well worth the drive if you love planes. The shuttle bus trought the Bone Yard only runs Mon - Friday, a must see.

Surprise Stadium is less than 4 miles. Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals share as home teams for Spring Training. The stadium is also used for Tennis Championships in April.
Peoria Stadium is less than 12 miles. Seattle Mariners

Fabulous

Started out looking for hotels to stay at and was blessed to come across this lovely house. Just minutes from anything you could want and with a backyard that was like a little oasis in the desert. It has a wonderful grill and the fire pit was wonderful as well. Highly recommend staying here if going to the Suprise area. Mary and Bill were great and very easy to deal with. Will look forward to coming back here.

Sunny Surprise Spring Break

April 10, 2013

Our family stayed at this property over our spring break and the backyard is amazing it truly feels like an "Island Home" in the desert. The pool was a little cold but the backyard was awesome. The home is nice, clean and spacious and the owners left many personal touches and were really easy to schedule with and pleasant. There is shopping close by and a great trail for running or walking. Weather is fabulous this time of year.

Relaxing in Surprise!

This home is beautifully and comfortably appointed. VERY CLEAN! The backyard is a very relaxing oasis! The photos don't do it justice! Minutes to KC Royals spring training complex and right off the 303! Our stay was wonderful, relaxing and there was room for the whole family to stay comfortably!

I would rent this home in a heartbeat! The home is inviting and the white French double doors invite you outside to an exotic resort backyard! While we would rent it to go sight seeing in the area; the kids would never want to leave the backyard pool with waterfall. In fact the whole time that we came to visit, the 3 kids were on their water toys immersed in 'play combat in the pool'.

The adults were sipping margaritas under the tiki hut and later surrounded the BBQ watching dinner be charred to perfection. Sitting out back, listening to the doves coo, in Bill and Mary's resort backyard was amazing. I hope someday that you can enjoy it too! Robin Shannon
