Spacious 2650 sq. ft. home sits right above Tacoma's waterfront. So close to the water, you can hear the waves lapping the shore. Walk the waterfront path, stroll to pubs, restaurants, parks, picnic areas, and a fishing pier. Or sit back on your deck and watch the ships coming into port or the trains as they pass by. Home is located in Tacoma's North End neighborhood. The four mile round trip paved waterfront path is just a block or two from the home. Enjoy the following activities along the waterfront path: biking, walking, jogging, roller blading. Or stop along the waterfront path at restaurants, pubs, parks, a fishing pier, kayak rentals, and even parasailing opportunities. One mile from home is the renowned Pt. Defiance Park, which offers a world class zoo, hiking trails, a scenic drive, numerous gardens, and restaurants. Or hop on the ferry, one mile from home, and head to Vashon Island for the day. Three miles from the home, in the downtown area, enjoy the Museum of Glass, and various other art museums and cultural activities. Other daytrip choices: Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, the Pacific Ocean, Victoria or Vancouver British Columbia, and various wineries and breweries.
