Description of the Tahoe City vacation condo rental

1,336sq.ft luxury condo has hot tub & summertime pool. Close to everything including rafting,biking,fishing & dining along the Truckee River.

With 3 bedrooms & 2 baths, it's perfect for 1 or 2 families. It's nicely decorated with new carpeting, furniture, mattresses, and accessories. Relax in our new private Hot Tub on the deck that has great views of the Sierras and the stars. Our complex has a great Summertime Pool that is never crowded.

In Alpine Meadows, we're conveniently located for any activity...walk to River Ranch along the river for indoor or outdoor dining (breakfast/lunch/dinner/drinks). Only 100 yards to the bike path that follows the Truckee River that can take you to Lake Tahoe. Many great hikes in the area, even an easy one right behind our complex! Rent a raft in Tahoe City and the take out is 100 yards from our condo. You can also visit Squaw Valley and take a tram ride to the top year-round. After a hard day of playing, relax in your own hot tub after the kids are in bed.

Sleeping Arrangments:
Queen Mattress Set...in the 3rd Floor Master Bedroom.
Full Size Futon Sofa...in the 3rd Floor Master Bedroom.
Twin over Queen Log Bunk Bed...in a 2nd Floor Bedroom.
Queen Mattress Set...in another 2nd Floor Bedroom.

Bathrooms:
Master Bathroom...newly remodeled with a tub/shower combo.
2nd Floor Bathroom...has a shower and toilet in one room with sink in the hallway for use while shower is occupied.

Kitchen:
Large kitchen is fully equipped with breakfast bar and 4 stools. It adjoins the dining and living room.

Living / Dining Room:
The kitchen, living room, and dining room is nice and open. There's large windows and a deck with a view of the trees and Sierras. There's a TV with built in VCR and DVD plus a pellet stove and a leather sectional. The dining table has seating for 6 and is next to the breakfast bar that has 4 stools.

Washer / Dryer:
Located in the 1st Floor Garage. Plenty of room for bikes / skis also.

If this one's booked...we also have two more 3 bedroom condos and two 4 bedroom cabins...all located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Ask us for our website that has pictures for all of these units along with separate availability calendars.

Sorry, we do not allow smoking or pets. We DO have one pet friendly cabin located on the North Shore...ask us.

My wife and I purchased this condo in Jan '05 and spent most of 2005 remodeling it. We welcomed our first guest Dec. 17th, 2005. Here's some comments from guests who have stayed at our condo:

Located in the Alpine Manor Complex off of Highway 89 between Truckee and Tahoe City. From Hwy 89, turn onto Alpine Meadows Road, cross the Truckee River and you're there! A short walk to The River Ranch Lodge for a nice meal that you don't have to drive to. Minutes from Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Squaw Valley. Outdoor Pool in Summer plus a short walk/ride to the Bike Trail.

Other Vacation Rental Amenities

River Ranch is within walking distance of our condo. This is also the take out spot for rafts that are rented in Tahoe City. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks inside and outside overlooking the Truckee River. Sometimes there's even live entertainment. Across the street from our condo is the Crest Deli and Catering...dine in or they even make you a sack lunch for your Tahoe Adventure!
