Description of the Tamarindo vacation villa rental
Built in 2007, this newly built 3050 sq ft villa has 4 bdrms and 3 1/2 baths total. With 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths in the main house and a detached Studio Apartment w/King bed & full bath. Amenities include a private pool, BBQ, outdoor shower, private parking and garage, large covered terraces and balconies.
Casa Del Rey sleeps up to 10 people. There are 3 king beds, 2 twin beds and an inflatable Queen mattress. Linens included. Inside utility room with washer/dryer for your gourmet kitchen is fully equipped w/stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and island.
Plasma screen TV w/free cable, movies, Wireless Internet. Phone provided - local calls included - long distance requires calling card.
Plentiful wildlife -exotic birds, large and harmless iguanas, with several families of monkeys in the lush tropical trees.
Daily maid service IS included, and 24 Hour security provided.

Casa Del Rey was a perfect fit for our vacation. Within walking distance of everything you need. Roomy and clean. Swimming pool was so comfortable.

Amazing Villa for the Family

We had a superb time in this villa. It perfectly accommodated 3 generations of our family. We had our 2 young children with us and it was convenient that the top floor has 2 bedrooms to accomodate a family. My brother in law loved the main level bedroom with walk out to the pool and my in-laws enjoyed their detached 'suite'. The maids visited daily and were a pleasure and kept our place so clean. The service was great - they replaced the coffee maker quickly when it broke and filled the propane on the BBQ ASAP. The pool was a perfect temperature and so refreshing in the heat of such a beautiful country. It's only a short walk to the beach and is at the end of the strip - quiet and private. We felt completely safe in this villa, especially with a guard overseeing the driveway 24/7. Being internet junkies the Wi-Fi was fast and easy to log on to so we could keep tabs on business back home. I'd highly recommend this villa to anyone. We can't wait to come back!

Just returned from our stay at Casa del Rey in Tamarindo. Loved the accommodations and the location. Just off the main drag but close enough to walk to everything. House is very comfortable and every bit as nice as it appears in photos and has everything you need. Great to have your own private pool to return to every day after touring. Great for families or couples. Only drawback was Friday night at the Monkey Bar - very loud, but If you can't beat em, join em.

We had a great stay in this house. The pool is gorgeous and it is in a great location to surf, and hit the nightlife and resturaunts without a car. The security staff was helpful and always on site so we had no worries about our safety or our car. The beds were comfy, and the guest place was nice as well. My new place to stay in Tamarindo. I barely left the pool with a beer on my side. Buenos tiempos!

Our immediate family (7 adults plus a 1 yr old) enjoyed the house in Tamarindo in March 2009, and we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation. We referred to it as the compound, and some days we would literally never leave! We kept the fridge stocked with groceries (we would walk to the big grocery store and take a taxi back) and beer/wine, and cooked all of our lunches and snacks there, as well as many of our dinners! We would read and play cards on the pool deck, and just soak up the sun... my nephew LOVED hanging out in the pool... all hours of the day! The amenities in the house were great. All in all, we were thrilled, and have recommended the house to our extended family who are looking for a similar vacation. We are now planning another family vacation, and are starting to look for accommodations... and we are realizing how great (and affordable!) the Tamarindo house (Casa Del Rey) really was!
What an amazing home!!! The location is perfect. Being right in town was great. Was close to everything. The security was second to none. We are planning our trip for next year. We plan to stay here again!!!!!! Audrey was very helpful and quick to respond to all e-mails.
If you are researching a place to stay in Tamarindo, SEARCH NO MORE! This villa is exactly what you want. The villa was plenty big for my party of 8. It was very clean and well maintained. The private pool is perfect for when you don't want to walk to the beach. Everything is conveniently located within walking disntance to this villa. Tamarindo beach, the restaurants and shops are all within a 4 or 5 minute walk. I cannot wait to return to Tamarindo and to Casa Del Rey! Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
10 of us managed to sleep very comfortably in this stunning villa! The preview photographs you get to see on the listing look good but there is always the doubt that they make it out to appear better than it is, however quite the contrary, they didn't do justice to how nice this place was. It was perfect for our group of people, had all the mod cons one could ask for and the security was excellent. We had a very nice man on security for our nightshifts who spoke good english and turned out to be a good friend to us all. Considering we chose the rainiest month of September, the weather could have gone against us but despite a few overcast days, the rest were beautiful. Thank you very much for the stay and the house is fully worthy it's motto "Live like Kings". Hope to be back at some point in the future. Veni Vidi Vici.
