Great time

We thoroughly enjoyed this townhouse experience. Weather wasn't cooperating, but the townhouse was well taken care of-clean, and new. The beach, fishing pier, water activities where a little too far.

Quiet Getaway

If your looking for a quiet relaxing vacation this place will suit you fine. A nice location to easily get to both St Pete's or down toward Ft Meyers / Sarasota for a day at a bigger beach. The town home was very nice with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Easy access to the town of Ruskin that has everything you need. Ruskin is very small, quiet, with little traffic to worry about. The only downfalls were the restaurant and pools. The building the restaurant is located at could use some updating, as well as its service - food was marginal at best. Ended up eating there once during our 6 day stay. The main pool was being renovated. Vacation Home Rentals were easy to work with as well as Virgil the on site manager. It's not even close to being as busy as St Pete's or Sarasota/Bradenton - so if you'd want peace and quiet it's a great place - If you're looking for more hustle and bustle - head to one of the bigger towns.

and unfortunately was one of the pools closed for a major renovation
but the renovation of the pool are now finished / updated and up and running again.

We apologize for the inconvenience with to have one of the pools temporary closed
but of safety issues, it was really necessary, to have this renovation done.
In regards to the service at the restaurant, we have not received any claims about service and food before, only positive responses, but I suppose that this could happening ones, at any restaurant.

We appreciate all your information when this will help us at Visit America T.G.&.V.S. Inc
that are the management /rental company for the waterfront town houses, at Bahia Beach,
to improve our own services to our rental guests.

Great townhouse for a large family

March 24, 2013

We had a great vacation here with 6 of us including 4 kids (ages 6-14yrs). The unit was very large and had almost all the amenities of home (except no BBQ and Kettle). The immediate area was quite nice, with a lot of wildlife. We saw tons of Dolphins in the inland waterway as well as the beach and many Osprey nesting. Was disappointed with the pools. Said there were 3 pools, the largest fully under construction and the other 2 were VERY small, not what we were hoping for. Ruskin is not the nicest area and there were no major stores (ie. Walmart or Target) anywhere nearby, just a small grocery store. Did not feel safe at night in the Ruskin area. About an hour drive including traffic to Clearwater beach. Enjoyed the actual condo a lot and Vergil was very helpful when we needed him to come and fix anything. Internet very slow and TV very poor quality - but that is not why we came to Florida!
