Description of the Tamworth vacation home rental
Rustic interior with huge livingroom/dining room designed for entertaining, 6 large bedrooms, and wrap around porch with a clear view to the "most photographed mountain in New England" (Mt. Chocorua).
A short walk to a private dock and bath house at nearby Chocorua Lake complete with kayaks, canoes and sailboat.
Six large bedrooms include: Two with queen beds, two with full beds and two with sets of twin beds. One queen room and one twin room have adjoining door - perfect for parents with small children.
The living room/dining room is an oversized, open area with a large fireplace, wooden cathedral ceilings, and sweeping staircase. The kitchen has plenty of room for 10 plus to eat. The "hot stove" room allows for enjoying a good book on a cool autumn evening. Three staircases provide lots of indoor exploring.
The wrap-around porch has a screened section for relaxing and enjoying the mountain view and peaceful woods.
Great for leaf-peeping season!
One obedient, trained dog considered.

Area Information
Activities close by inclue: hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, whitewater canoing, mountain biking, rock climbing, berry picking, leaf-peeping, local theatre at the Barnstormers, square dancing, mini-golf, golf courses, and driving range, go-cart racing, and enjoying the outdoors.
About 20 minutes north, the scenic Kancamaugus Highway joins Route 16. Take the 'Kanc' to access waterfalls, more hiking and river fun.
Enjoy easy access, via Rte 16 N, to the sales tax free factory outlets of North Conway, which is a 20 minute drive. Enjoy many restaurants, or spend the day at StoryLand, or try the indoor water park the Red Jacket, or the outdoor water park at Attitash, venture to Mt. Washington, and much more!

Unique Estate - Amazing Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful vacation home. There are tons of enjoyable activities for every personality in your group. Inspiring views for the artists and photographers. Hiking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, exploring, etc. for the outdoorsy folk. History geeks will love the fact that is a historically significant home / conservation area. And for the diehard shoppers, they’re antique stores, quaint New England shops, and plenty of great deals at the outlets a short drive away (we were just in time for ‘Back to School’). The home itself is gorgeous and spacious, yet still maintains the coziness that makes a house feel like a home. House is equipped with everything you could need. There is no internet access - I recommend it stay that way. It gave everyone a nice break from the devices we are normally glued to. If you NEED to check your email, there’s a Dunkin’s 10min away with free WiFi. Owner and property manager were very friendly and helpful. Security and pet deposit were returned promptly. Our family missed the place as soon as we left! I highly recommend and would definitely return.
