The host and staff were very friendly! We loved the room (master suite) and the location right on the beach. The waters were a little disappointing because the last hurricane eroded much of the shore. While the beach by the hotel is great, much of the rest of the shore needs attention. We were there in the rainy off season, but the weather was great! No waiting around for tables or lines for service anywhere which was fantastic! The mosquitos were a nuisance whenever the breeze died down. We used the kayaks and snorkels supplied by the hotel. We also went to the cenote across the road which has a passage under the road to the ocean if you scuba. The location was great for day trips to Coba, Xel-Ha, and cenotes. We also ate in Tulum several times. The hotel restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch.
