Description of the Taos vacation home rental

Casa Coyote is located at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, halfway between the Taos Ski Valley and Taos. It has three private courtyards, one with spa. The interior is a traditional taos design with high ceilings and large windows to view the mountains beyond. A exclusive clubhouse with tennis court and indoor pool is available to guests.

Casa Coyote is owner managed. The prices are very competitive to other homes in the area. Three day minimum stay is required.

Great Base for Exploring Taos

August 2, 2010

My family of five ( 3 teenagers + 2 parent) enjoyed a week long stay at Casa Coyote. The house is north of Taos, but close enough to go into Taos for groceries, shopping and a movie. The house is located at the base of the mountains with beautiful views. My children loved the hot tub and pool. There was good internet access and Direct TV. If you are planning a skiing visit, you are right on the way to the Taos Ski Valley from this home. We did white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking and a trip to Santa Fe from this location. If you are planning to go south of Taos, you will want to learn the route around the city, since the main route through Taos is often backed up and has four way stops.

We enjoyed our experience at Casa Coyote, especially the mountain views, the smell of nearby alfalfa fields being mowed and seeing nighttime spectacles of the stars and planets. My wife is ready to go again.

Three couples spent an enjoyable week at Casa Coyote and the surrounding area. We enjoyed the spaciousness, physical layout, and the quiet location. Very comfortable accomodations and no major concerns. The caretaker responded to our one request without delay. We happened to choose the last week of September when the aspens were in full color. The missing star was due to absence of bar soap and a minimal spice cabinet for cooking.

We stayed on this home for three days and did not want to leave. it is tastefully decorated, well stocked with to many things to name, and a peaceful beautiful veiw of the mountains. I would be honored to stay in this home again!!!
