Waterfront Cottage on Spring Bayou (#32946)

Write a review We spent one month at this cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very comfortable and has everthing that you would need. The view of the bayou was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the manatees and dolphins swim by and the abundance of birds. The neighborhood is very quiet and it is a short walk to town or to the Sponge docks. The sunsets at Sunset Beach are spectacular. We certainly put the two bicycles provided to good use. We enjoyed biking and walking on the Pinellas Trail which is paved the entire length and is only minutes away. We were also able to do a lot of walking around Tarpon Springs and all the bayous. Thank you very much to our hosts. We had a wonderful vacation and would certainly like to go again. Brian and Karen I was in the area for a seminar and wanted something with views and a kitchen. This home was just adorable, neat and clean. Located conveniently to Tarpon Springs center and major roads, it is a quiet spot right on a bayou. The price was great and I would recommend it or go again! We spent 2 months at this place and enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house is very comfortable, bright and airy, with a terrific view out on the bayou. It’s very well equipped, with a large, modern kitchen stocked with everything you might need. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, with virtually no traffic, but close to everything in town. We’ve enjoyed kayaking, watching wildlife (with friendly wading birds and dolphins visiting us daily), and the nearby beaches. We’ve also done a lot of biking and inline skating: Pinellas Trail is minutes away, and Suncoast (a 20 minute drive) is fantastic for skating, with many miles of smoothly paved, continuous trails. The hosts were extremely gracious and accommodating (they even had Internet installed at our request!) In all, a great vacation! Alex and Barbara
