Neve Tzedek, which is the most charming neighborhood of Tel-Aviv is located in the center of town next to Shalom Meir Tower, full of offices and shops, the Vilina Villa is surrounded by shopping opportunities and also Just 660 yards from the Stock Exchange, and just Five minute walk to the famous Tel Aviv beaches.

This area of Tel-Aviv has become fashionable among the bohemian yuppie set. Among the posh galleries and restaurants one can also find small cafes and artists' studios.

The narrow winding lanes, colorful plaster walls and tile roofs recall a small Mediterranean village.

MORE ABOUT NEVE TZEDEK

Neve Tzedek is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful areas in Tel Aviv. It's located a

South of the Yemenite Quarter, Neve Tzedek was the first neighborhood built in the “new” city of Tel Aviv, back in 1887. At the beginning of the 20th century Neve Tzedek was the home of many artists and writers, such as Brenner and Agnon (a Nobel Prize winning author).

But in the following years the area suffered from neglect, the old houses and streets crumbling away. Only in the 1980's, the place recaptured its former prestige, and has since become a stylish yuppie residence with plenty of restaurants, galleries and designer shops.

The architecture of Neve Tzedek is definitely one of the highlights in the area. Beautiful old houses restored to grandeur by modern architects and designers.

A quiet retreat in the middle of everything
If you stay in one of the Villa Vilina Vacation Apartments you will have a quiet retreat right in the middle of everything. A well kept apartment awaits you with all amenities, a friendly and helpful host, and you can sit on the roof terrace and enjoy the sunset. You are 10 minutes in walking distance from the beach, 20-30 minutes to Yaffa, around the corner from the Rothchild Boulevard with the famous Bauhaus architecture, and minutes from Albeny Street where you can catch a bus to the train or central station to travel around the country. Last but not least, Neve Tzedek has lots of nice cafes, restaurants, bakeries and wine bars to enjoy, and shops to browse.

Very friendly place, top location to explore Tel Aviv
I have stayed at the rooftop apartment a week in January 2010 - has been an excellent
alternative compared to hotels in Tel Aviv. Value for money is very good. In a nutshell:
- central and tasteful place with a lot of facilities in the area (from shopping, cafes, art & culture)
- and Neve Tzedek where the accomodation is located is a special area in Tel Aviv which should not be missed, especially if you come to Tel Aviv for the first time.
- if you need a car there is a parking place nearby (which is quite hard to find in Tel Aviv...) which offers a weekly tariff; also, what has been important to me, the Internet connection
in the room has been working fine.

The rooms are spacious and clean, its a 5 minutes walk to the beach. Although central, and close to noisy streets, it is a quiet place.
Ask the owner about the history of the building, show knows are a lot of interesting stories to tell. Dont expect a perfect infrastructure, Neve Tzedek it is an area with historic buildings.
I have found the The Rooftop Studio in the same building a very good choice, too.

The owner offers an excellent service, if there is any question she helps and replies quickly; I have felt at home after a short time.

Take your time and explore the surroundings walking, a truly cosmopolitan experience
in the Middle East.

In summary, a great and convenient place which is my choice again for my next visit to Tel Aviv. More...

Villa Vilina, located on the main street of Tel Aviv's premier neighborhood, provides an airy sanctuary in the heart of the city's most stylish and hip areas. The vintage roof terrace apartment with soaring ceilings and simple furnishings is a short walk to the beach and steps away from stylish restaurants, cafe's and boutiques. We chose Villa Vilina over Tel Aviv's huge number of concrete beachfront hotels and other boutique hotels to get a more feel for city and to enjoy Neve Tzedek's unique character. The roof deck is lovely in the evening and surprisingly quiet given its location. Vilina herself who manages the property was extremely helpful and responsive. Also high speed internet was provided free of charge. We stayed 5 nights at Villa Vilina after touring around Israel and staying at the country's top hotels and spas and our stay at Villa Vilina was probably the place we enjoyed the most.
