Doc's house up on the mesa is a place unparalleled in beauty and peaceful living. The views out of the mostly all glass west facing side of house truly incredible. We stayed Christmas week and enjoyed a very "White Christmas". Be aware that the house is at about 9400 feet and therefore everything that goes with high altitude living is in effect. Doc Tucci was very helpfully and welcoming for our stay there. I have no reservations about about recommending this property to anyone.

I've been to Doc's place now three times in the past 4 years with friends, siblings, parents, and my young children. Everyone loves it. I haven't even looked for another place to stay in Telluride. It's a really special place. Always love falling asleep in the hammock listing to the wind and stargazing late into the night. A few days on the Mesa and you can't help feeling more at peace and happier ... until you have to leave of course.

This is what happened to us over the course of the weekend in Telluride and on the mesa. It was as if layer upon layer of callused emotional gateways were stripped away. By the time I had to leave it was as if a new, exposed heart was there for all to see, including the deer, cats, elks, eagles, hawks and mice. It was truly spiritual and much needed. Doc, to say "thanks" is to do you a great injustice. Even though the mesa and your place are so special, you my friend are a true gem. Your warmth, hospitality and graciousness were apparent from the start, and I knew months ago when I began planning for this vacation, that I had found more than a place to stay in Telluride. I have been very fortunate and blessed to have found myself surrounded by such special friends and family, and I know that my circle has just widened. I very much look forward to the next time we get to sit down and enjoy each other's company. Doc, I don't say "thanks" just for renting your house on the mesa. I say thank you for giving me and my friends the greatest gift of all. Life.

This east coast family just spent a great week with our family of six including 4 kids from 10-17 at this unique property & everyone enjoyed themselves. Close enough to ski almost every day on the mountain but remote enough to enjoy God's beauty out every window. This property is a diamond and the landlord is extremely accommodating. I know you will find tranquility here!
so peaceful I could hear my innermost thoughts, clearly. and THE ENERGY ! ! ! up there - we'll be back, ASAP! thank you so much, Doc, it was the peace of heaven we needed, away from all the partygoers that large festivals bring to sleepy mtn towns
