Welcome to the Country! Rustic Timbers appeals to all who seek a well deserved break and a time to move at a slower pace. Rustic Timbers is a massive 4000 sq. ft. post and beam log home constructed of large oak and poplar logs. The home has a 22" cathedral ceiling, Federal style wood stove, fireplace and unique rustic design throughout. The home has four beautifully decorated bedrooms and three full baths. The main bath has a shower, whirlpool tub, large vanity and enclosed washer and dryer. The second floor balcony is a perfect spot to relax, read a book, listen to music or enjoy games with the family and friends. Adirondack chairs on the sixty foot front porch welcome guests to relax and take that overdue nap. The enclosed back porch offers comfortable seating while watching for deer,hummingbirds or simply enjoying the rural surroundings. A comfortable and relaxing dining room are easily supported by a large professional kitchen. The kitchen has custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, ice maker and a six burner stove to make meal preparation for up to 45 guests a breeze. Professional cooks and waitstaff are available if desired.

Upper Middle Tennessee is a beautifully rural and historic agricultural region of Tennessee. The Land Between the Lakes is located between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. The rolling hills of the area are the ideal spot for nature lovers, hikers, bikers and hunters to enjoy nature at it's best. The lakes offer unlimited fishing, boating and water sports. Other points of interest are the Cross Creek Wildlife Refuge and Sanctuary, Historic Fort Donelson Battlefield and Fort Donelson Cemetery, Surrender House, The Homeplace 1850 and historic Lime Kilns.

I and four of my siblings stayed here for a family reunion. As this was my first stay at a B&B, I don't know how anywhere could be better. It all starts with Betty who as hostess makes you feel at home and as cook feeds you like family. Then there is the facility, itself, that has been completely renovated and is the epitome of comfort and beauty. Every room from the dining room/living room and kitchen to the bedrooms and baths are finished with care and consideration for our comfort. I actually got four thumbs up from my sibs for for chosing Rustic Timbers. I give Betty and her B&B my highest rating and recommend that you come see for yourself. I know we'll be back.
