Description of the The Villages vacation villa rental
We go all the time to one of the three squares in the Villages, where they have free entertainment nightly with lots of music and dancing of all kinds. You can dance or just sit and watch the fun.
You can enjoy live entertainment, bowling, movies, pony polo(spring & fall), shopping, eating at the many local restaurants, and partying galore.
If you are a golfer, we have numerous courses both inside and outside the Villages where you can hit the little white ball all you want. The public courses often run coupon specials in the newspaper each week.
We are close to Daytona Beach, Orlando-Disney World & Sea World, Ocala-Silver Springs, Tampa-Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens and many other nearby attractions.

Payment: Rate based on season. See chart
Weekly: $750 - $850, due upon booking.
Monthly: $1,200, advance rent due upon booking, balance due forty five (45) days prior to start date of lease.
Security Deposit: $500 due upon arrival and prior
to occupancy. Deposit to be refunded upon
satisfactory inventory and inspection. $75
Cleaning fee to be deducted from deposit.
Amenities fee if desired: $25 per month, per
address (not per person), to be paid to Lakeside Landings.

Beautiful Home

We arrived on the 15th of December, 2012 and left on the 29th. This trip was wonderful for many reasons, but the most important one to me is to be staying in a clean, comfortable and beautiful space. This home has comfortable beds, two washrooms, beautifully decorated and very clean. We enjoyed that is was a very short distance to the gates of The Villages and could enjoy the unique lifestyle that The Villages offers. We rented a “street legal” golf cart and used it everywhere. The community sports/entertainment complex is practically right next to the home (across the pond) and has one of the nicest pools I have ever seen, putting green, gym, ping pong table, pool table, Jacuzzi…. Just perfect. I have to say, the pictures on this site certainly do not do this property justice. The Landlord Mr. Gibson was a wonderful and gracious host. He welcomed us, gave us a tour of the facilities and left us to our business. Since this was Christmas, Mr. Gibson I suspect went to his primary place of residence and I had failed to check to ensure that we had an operational telephone and internet…. Which we quickly found out we did not…. And this drove my kids crazy, and made me nervous because God forbid we would have had to call 911 and couldn’t…. so, check that before you start to enjoy your holidays! YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED.

Lakeside landings

We enjoyed our stay very much. We found the accommodations to be very comfortable and the decor very pleasing. The property was neat and clean with an amazing view of the pond and fountain. The neighborhood was well maintained and quiet. The proximity to the clubhouse and beautiful pool was a plus. We would definately stay here again if the opportunity arose.

Magnificent Vacation Villa

We stayed at the Gibson's beatiful villa while visiting my Dad who lives close by in The Villages. The location was perfect as it is only a short golf cart drive away from everything we needed within the complex as well as The Villages. The spacious villa is located in a picturesque gated community. We enjoyed the view of the fish filled pond and lighted fountain. The villa is very clean and well appointed. I particularly enjoyed watching baseball on the large HD television in the living room while sitting on the quite comfortable couch. The king bed in the large master bedroom was also especially comfortable! The Gibson's were great hosts and they have terrific neighbors. Right around the corner we enjoyed the well equipped clubhouse with workout room and enormous pool. The pool's waterfall is unbelievable! Hoot's speedy, four seat golf cart was all we needed to get around with our family of four. Thanks to the Gibson's for a very enjoyable stay in their lovely home!

Beautiful and spacious

The villa is beautifully furnished, spacious, clean and very well maintained. The lanai is roomy and has a nice view of the pond and fountain. The master bedroom is huge with a spa like master bath. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our Christmas here with our family and hope to return again. Could easily spend my winter here.

JUST AS GOOD THE 2ND TIME!

We had stayed in this beautiful Villa last December, and decided to come again when the weather was guaranteed to be warmer. The Villa was just as great (very clean, spacious and tastefully furnished) the second time around and the weather was great also...........a win-win situation! We enjoyed the lovely pool, complete with waterfall, almost daily. We rented the Gibson's 4 seater golf cart again and had the best time driving around the Villages in it to restaurants and entertainment. We also used it for golf on the Villages golf courses. A great feature of this Villa is that it overlooks a pond with a beautiful fountain in the center. We loved having our coffee and breakfast in the morning on the lanii to the sounds and sights of the pond and fountain. The Gibsons are caring and responsive landlords. We would most definitely rent here again.

first extended stay

this was our first extended stay in florida and it was the test to see how well we liked it there. the home we rented from the gibson family was very nice and everything we needed was there. they do a wonderful job of preparing the home for your stay and the location is really close to all activities in the villages. we were impressed with the area so much that we bought a home of our own while we were there. thanks for a wonderful experience. the diehl's

GEORGEOUS PROPERTY

This is a gorgeous property to rent. It is immaculate, spacious and the location could not be better. It offers a wonderful view of the pond with fountain that is lighted at night. It is only steps to the clubhouse with the disney-like pool with waterfalls. Unfortunately the weather was somewhat cool, so we were only able to enjoy the pool one day. Our son-in-law did use the exercise room 2 times and really enjoyed it. We stayed here for nearly the entire month of December, celebrating Christmas with our 2 daughters and their families. We had so much fun renting the Gibson's 4 seater golf cart which allowed us easy access to the Villages and all they had to offer. Our family also played the Miona Lake Golf Course adjacent to Lakeside Landings...........very enjoyable. Lakeside Landings is a beautiful retreat and we plan to rent from the Gibson's again in April, hoping to experience the warm weather Florida is so famous for. (We are from NH.) In fact, if we were to buy in Florida, we would choose Lakeside Landings over the Villages.....we liked it that much (and we have a relative and a friend who live in the Villages). Now that we think about it, perhaps we should not give the Gibson's Villa such a high rating as it may become so popular that reservations will become impossible to get!

BEST VACATION EVER

That is what my mother-in-law said after she visited us for a few days. I am in total agreement. What a great time we had! I enjoyed shooting pool with my father-in-law. My wife especially liked the waterfalls, at the pool, beating down on her back. It was like having your own private masseuse. We really enjoyed the quaint shops in the Villages, and the free nightly entertainment of music and dancing at the two town squares. Because LakesideLandings is a gated community, we felt very secure with our six year old daughter. There is so much to do, we plan to return twice next year. We are telling our relatives and friends about this great place to vacation.

Beautiful villa with all the comforts of home. Every room was decorated and fully furnished. We had everything we needed for our 2 month stay. The grounds were well taken care of, as were the pools. The Gibson's were great to work with and we received our security deposit back in timely manner, one week. GREAT EXPERIENCE
