The key words to describe this updated courtyard villa in The Villages, Florida are “location, privacy and pet friendly.” This 2 Bedroom--2 Bath villa is in the village of Santo Domingo near shopping, dining, golf, pools, recreation centers and the Villages hospital and medical centers. As in all courtyard villas, the yard is fully enclosed by the courtyard wall, but the rear wall of our villa is a picket fence that both allows airflow into the courtyard and also provides for a 100 yard open view. The Spanish Springs town square is a 10 minute ride by golf cart and the Square at Sumter Landing is about a 15 minute ride. The villa sits between the championship golf courses of Orange Blossom Hills, Hacienda Hills, Tierra Del Sol and Glenview and the executive golf courses of De La Vista, Chula Vista, Mira Mesa, Hill Top and Silver Lake. Basically, all Villages amenities and attractions are within about a 15 minute ride by golf cart…and the high speed gas golf cart is included in the rental price.

This is a pet friendly villa with all tile or commercial grade laminated flooring and we do allow 1 small dog (less than 20 lbs) that must be fully house trained. No smoking is allowed in the villa. The villa is fully furnished with all that is required for full time living. There are 2 TVs, stereo radio, cd player, high speed wireless internet, local phone, unlimited long distance phone (within the continental United States...international calls or calls to Canada, Alaska or Hawaii require that you use a calling card or your cell phone) and all the dishes, pots, pans and domestic equipment needed for living. In addition, we use this villa much of the time for family and friends so there are many personal items (paintings, artwork, etc) that make this villa truly your home away from home. The Master BR has a King sized bed and the guest BR has a Queen sized bed and both beds have excellent mattresses.

Rental price varies by the month rented and each month’s rental price (and availability) is described below: Rents to be paid 1 month in advance. $500 security deposit that will be returned after owner inspection to insure no damage. $100 one time cleaning fee. (Please note that we only accept full 3 months rentals for the Jan-Feb-Mar period unless there is a late cancellation in which case we will rent by the individual month for this period)

NOTE: Prices are for two person occupancy. Occasional guests are welcome free of charge, but full time occupancy by more than 2 people will require additional monthly charges. Also, if you want to be a Temporary Resident (recommended) then you need to pay the $50 charge to get the ID. We will arrange all paperwork, but you will need to show a Picture ID (drivers license) when you pick up your Temporary Resident Pass upon arrival.

The Villages is located in central Florida about 40 miles north of Orlando's major theme parks (Disneyland, Sea World, Universal, Water World and many others attractions. But the real attraction is The Villages itself.

The Villages is a unique vacation destination since it a gated community that covers more than 30 square miles and has over 2000 activities that are all accessible by golf cart. A list of activities is too numerous to mention but some of the key ones include: 42 golf courses including 11 championship course, 80 public pools, 100's of tennis courts, pickle ball courts, softball facilities, bowling, billards, recreation centers, boche ball courts, archery range, shopping, dining (both formal and informal), 2 town squares with dancing and entertainment 7 days per week and major medical facilities/hospital all generally within a short
10-20 minute ride by either car or golf cart.
