Valhalla Haus is an exclusive private lakefront Log Cabin,located 70 airmiles (112Km) North of the City of Thompson. We have been at the lake for 29 years, the original buildings was destroyed by forest fire.
Rebuilding was started 2003 and completed 2005.

The camp is accessible only by Seaplane or Helicopter.

The cabin is equipped with all modern appliances and indoor plumbing, Highspeed Internet, Satellite TV, and Satellite phone service.

We also have a visitors cabin with two double bunks that can be rented for a total of $ 600/week, bring your own food and drink that will be prepared and served in the main cabin.Gas for the outboards will be extra charge.Contact Venture Air Thompson for charter cost.

For the hunting entusiast we have a large population of Moose,Beavers, Otters, Woodland Cariboos, Grey Wolf's and Black Bears.
Across our little bay we have Bald Eagles nesting every year,not to mention all the Ducks,Loons,Night Hawks, and the very sociable Grey Jay.
At our Lake there's no, Guides or Strangers around.
The lake is a clearwater lake ,with Lake Trout, Whitefish, and Northern Pike.
Boats and motors are available for fishing and to explore the area.
We also have a Heliport for emergency evacuations by Helicopter.

The forest surrounding the camp is predominantly Black Spruce and Jack Pine growing on sandy Eskers that makes for excellent hiking.The lake is 7 miles long and 2 miles wide with numerous islands and points, and in many locations over 120 ft deep.
The West side of the lake and surrounding hills is now the " Amisk (Beaver)"Provincial Park Reserve.
The camp is located in the middle of a 3 mile long channel on a point with water on three sides, which makes for a perfect floatplane and boat parking.Also,when the weather is to rough to be on the main lake, the channel is most of the time calm.
