Description of the Thompson vacation home rental

The Spencer House was built in 1890. It was designed in the East Lake style, Stick and Ball Spandrels grace the openings between rooms, curved glass windows and curved walls, finely carved woodwork throughout the house show us that Mr. Spencer spared no expense to build his wife a magnificent home. A great place to relax after an exciting day. Reunions, receptions, weddings or get togethers will be that much more special in the Spencer House!
First Floor; 3 parlors, 2 adjoining dining rooms (or one large dining room), Large fully equipped kitchen, 2 powder rooms, large front porch with 2 rotundas,
Second Floor; 5 bedrooms (one has a private bath) 3 full bath rooms,
Third Floor; 1 small bedroom with double bed, large room with 4 twin beds, games, toys and room to play
Basement; large door to parking area to drop gear, place to tune skis, work out area with rowing machine, stationary bikes and Nordic trac,

Area Information

The Spencer House is located in Thompson PA about 12 miles north of Elk Mountain. It is in the lake region so no matter which direction you head you will come cross lakes ponds and streams. The Susquehanna River is only minutes away for fishing, boating and kayaking. Rails to Trails snowmobile trail runs through town and is easily accessible

We are on the main street in town and have front row seats to the fourth of July Parade.

It is a great area to visit year round with every season having something special to offer.
