FUTURE VACATION

We are wanting to stay in your resort in NOV or DEC 2013 or JAN 2014 for several months. Please send more information. We are two elderly adults and would like to have a one bedroom bungalow. Your units look very attractive and we like your area. We have done this before and it was very successful, but the cost was quite high. We are hoping to improve on the price.

This was a great last part of our visit to Israel. This is a great base to visit the whole northern part of Israel. We saw up to the border of Lebanon and across through the Golan Heights to Syria. Of course you are in the perfect place to see all of the Galilee area. Back to the cabins, well some reviews state that they area little tired looking, well yes I guess they are, but this brought out their character for me. They are situated on a moshav so are surrounded by farmland and yes the cows are there too. This again adds to the character of the venue. Oh! The swimming pool is great, especially in the middle of summer. The owners are great too, they were more than helpful and were brilliant to chat to. This is so much better than staying in a hotel and I would recommend it to everyone.

Not one to post my remarks or make recommendations...but this place was great. Pool was working and clean, hosts supportive but non intrusive, and all was better than we expected. I would stay here again!

Nice accomodation, nice place, nice atmosphere, nice people. We stayed here with three teenagers. They liked the swimming pool, and ping pong table, The wooden cabins are good equiped and clean. We stayed in Arbel 6 nights in April, 2011, and it was a great time. Benny and Carmel, the owners, are the best hosts you can imagine: Friendly, helpful and always cheerful. When we arrived late on a holiday, they spontaneously offered us a breakfast for the next morning - which was delicate. The houses have lots of space and are pretty comfortable, though already a bit old, especially the bathrooms. All together, we will definetely consider to go to this place again!

Six of us stayed in the larger wooden cabin for 5 nights. The owners, Benny & Carmel, are extremely friendly and helpful and made us most welcome. The location is very quiet and located in the countryside only a few minutes drive from the very busy Tiberias. Although there's a cow shed close-by, we hardly noticed it. The cabin is characterful and could be described as quaint and the trade-off is probably between the unusual location and the "back to basics" nature of the place. Although we managed, having only a single combined shower room with a WC this may not suit many but I'm sure that Benny is addressing this point. The other plusses are that wireless internet is available and there are 2 flat screen TVs. If you're looking for something different and don't mind giving up a few of the luxuries of modern day living for a lovely setting location, then this is for you.

my family stayed here this summer and could not have had a better experience. My children loved the playground and pool. The whole family (a group of 19) ate outside together and lay in the hamocks in the evening outdoors. very close to tiveria and other tourist spots. would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Rustic but quaint (a bit run down). Nice little play area and pool! Beautiful location. Grandkids loved it. Breakfast was the best in Israel made to order by Benny! Crusader fort near by. The Shower was the only problem- we shared a 2bdrm my husband and I with my daughter, her husband and three grandsons. The water from the shower basically floods the bathroom otherwise I would have given it a 5star rating. I'd definately go back!

The owners Beni and Carmel were very helpful and gave some good advices regarding excursions and things to see and do in the environment. The accomodation was basic and for 9 persons not much room inside for sitting. In May the weather is great and good outside sitting availability. It is not a great place when you don´t like farming because you are in a farming environment and your neighbours are cows. It is a great place for discovering Galilea and when we have the opportunity we would rebook the accomation. For children it is great because of a lot of play toys, pingpong table, table football etc. Also the swimmingpool is nice when you return after a hot day although not really suitable for very small children.

Owner Beni is knowledgeable and helpful with the incredible cave archaeological sites which are within walking distance of these cabins. The accommodations are nice and there is WIFI internet there, though one of the 3 nights we stayed there was noisy because of the dairy farmer next door. The resort-like setting is great, with a pool my children enjoyed, a play area, and a jaccuzzi tub and sauna for grown ups.

Another way to feel Israel

After many visits in Israel (sleeping in higher level hotels), we recieved a new experience, living a week in these wooden cabins of Finland. It gives another view of Israel,it's better to write another "feeling" of a part of the Israelian life, the agriculteral way near the cows, but with airconditioning (outside 45°C), our own kitchen, many place, our own table outside the door, the jacuzzi and near Tiberias. Maybe not the best way, when you're coming the first time in Israel (when you visit in a few days all the touristic places),but when you like to enter in the heart of Israel and the thora/ bible outside Jerusalahim. The boss Benny gives a deep approach of the scriptures from his own views. The location is very good for the discovery of the Galilea, but far away from Jerusalahim and the south. We don't have used the breakfast or the covered swimming pool, but they seem very good, especially when you're there with children. In AM there was some noise, when you woulded sleep longe

Holiday Homes on Mt. Arbel/Galilee

Wonderful place to stay away from the hustle bustle of tourist sites. Benny and Carmel are excellent hosts. We traveled as a family of five ranging in age from 7-68 years. We stayed in the larger wood cabin. Two bedrooms (queen/splits) downstairs and 2 twins and 1 queen/split upstairs. Plenty of room for us all to spread out. Benny provided a wonderful breakfast along with good company on the area and life in Israel. The cabins are located in a residential community behind Benny's house. The only possible negative is that you are right next door to cow farming. Smell might become a problem, but was not when we were there and it was hot out. I would definately come back and stay again. Only 2 minute drive into Tiberias. We took advantage of the above ground pool, ping pong table, and lounging in the hamock. The cabin has a lovely little balcony. Perfect for watching the sun rise. Three miles away is Mt. Arbel National Park. Excellent vantage point of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee).
