My family and I had such a great time in this home. Last year we rented a house in which when we arrived...it was so filthy even though they charged us a cleaning fee. When we got there...everything was so clean. Owners were very helpful, always trying to do the best they can. Location is great. My family and I def wish to go back there again. It had all we needed for our stay there

This home was perfect for a family with teens and young adults. There were three bedrooms with televisions and a separate loft area. Skylights let the sun pour into the upstairs rooms. The kitchen had a coffeemaker, a microwave, ample dishes, glasses and pans. Even though we ate a lot at local restaurants, it was nice to have the option to eat in. It was also a plus for us that bedding and towels were provided. The house in in a gated community and the neighborhood is surrounded by a wilderness area. Deer were everywhere grazing on lawns, and one day when my husband and I were walking we saw a fox. The owner is responsive and lovely. Since we were not from the area, she went out of her way to help us with destinations and directions. The house is relatively close to a ski area, a casino, grocery stores and outlet stores. It was a lovely place to spend Thanksgiving. The house is also only about an hour and a half from New York City.

well, we loved it as well as our kids. Big specious house, enough space for everyone, kids loved the pool, my husband enjoyed the back deck and fresh air. Thinking about moving to the community in few years.

Place was excellent...I wished everyone who stayed here should have taken care of as their own home. There are something you would not have to your own home.....my kids and wife loved the place. We will go back there definitely.

Fire place wasn't working play room heater was a headache to turn it on. All electronics were outdated including kitchen appliances over all there's plenty of space I just thought for the amt you pay you should get more and more pillows and blankets def not enough for the people that house sleeps
Owner's reply:
Thank you for your stay, and we apologize again for the issue with the fireplace. Things sometimes break, and there is no 24 hour fireplace service in the Pocono area, so it had to wait until after the weekend.
As far as the pillows and blankets, we provide enough of those for as many people as you make the reservation for. You had made a reservation for 6, and you had 3 queen size beds fully equipped with bedsheets, pillows, and comforters. If you had more than 6 guests, you should have announced us, and we would have gladly left more pillows and blankets out. We have plenty of those in the closet!

Cabin Weekend

8 of us rented the house for the weekend and it fit us comfortably. Great location, only being about 15 minutes from Tobyhanna St. Park. Most of the amenities that we needed were there (cooking utensils, linens, cleaning stuff) and in good condition. I did have to speak to the owner a few times while we were there (ceiling fan malfunction) and she was SUPER nice. Also, all my initial email communications with her left me feeling comfortable. My only complaints were as follows: Entrance to the development is a bit tricky, and you have to stop at the Welcome Center for a car pass. Also, note that GPS and Mapquest really can't navigate this area properly. You may want to contact the owner for specific directions from your location just to be sure. There were too many light switches throughout the house, and it was difficult to figure out which switch went with which light. It looked like someone did a poor DIY electrical job. Also, there was a temperamental motion light on the front porch that didn't stay lit long enough to be helpful. When you arrive to the house at night, it makes a big difference. Bring a flashlight!!! Second, the beds were comfy but the living room couch was actually painful. Again, when you have guests that have to use that couch, it makes a difference. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend, and I would stay here again.

2nd Time Renting Out

House is situated in a very nice community, in the summer it gets a little hot but my group and I had a good time. Upon first arrival the place was dirty; it could be that noone had rented it out for awhile because there were cobwebs and an occasional ant here and there. The back porch was a mess; leaves, cobwebs, leftover coal, leftover bbq gear laid scattered. Eating utensils and dishware required a rinse before use, couldve been the maid's problem. After a minor clean-up, the house was in great shape and we enjoyed a nice, quiet (for the most part) weekend bbqing, ping pong, foosball, and movies. Walmart is very close, not too many cars in the community and you will see some wildlife there. Thanks Mario and Dominique, we might rent this place out again if we can somehow find a way to put some AC in the house.

Stayed for 3 days 2 nights it was really nice couldnt beat the location it was a short drive away from everything...the mountain, casino, local eateries. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Probably going to go back real soon. Overall the house was nice and clean. I really dont have any complaints.

This was the perfect place to stay for our weekend ski trip. We had a group of 9 and we slept comfortably in this spacious house. Loved the game room, which was one of our favorite places besides the living room. Great place to stay with friends and family. Close to casino and short drive to Camelback ski resort. Owner was very nice and we would gladly come back next time around.

The cabin itself is really nice. Even though we had a small problem with the lock, the owner was nice enough to come out from New York to come fix it. The owner is a really nice guy and he refunds deposit almost immediately without you even having to ask. Great experience and we will go back.

The house is beautiful and comfortable and offers a lot of fun activities in the house and the area. In winter, turn the heat on right away in the living room because it takes a while to heat up a big space like that. House was very clean and had all utilities for convenience. Few caveats: DVD players need remotes or batteries, couldn't find the promised area indoor pool, the dart board needs darts, and the jets in the tub didn't work. Those are just details though and didn't in any way distract from having a wonderful time in this house.

The gated community was not quite what we expected, being a different mix of homes, some higher end and some middle/lower class. House wasn't cleaned when we arrived due to some problems. Mario said that he'd tried to get in touch with us before hand and the house was cleaned a few hours later (he adjusted our rental cost). Sandra, the neighbour was very nice and helpful. Overall, house was spacious but the games room was musty and the second below level rooms had a tendency to be damp. The other couple we travelled with stayed in the bedroom upstairs and didn't have any complaints. The living room/kitchen was very big and the outside deck was great, quiet and hardly any bugs. The pool facilities were good and the kids had a great time swimming. Overall, decent for the price but likely wouldn't repeat. Please note that I do have high standards and Mario seemed like a good guy - wanted to make everything right.

I stayed here last year also, had a small misunderstanding this year but the owner contacted me and we worked it out. Plenty of space for all of us (5 people), my son and his friends like it here. It is near to stores and food and not too far from attractions. The beds are comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. Will stay again next year.

we had a small situation come up related to our rental, through no direct fault of the owner. he really owned up to the situation and had a strong desire to help us and was very apologetic that things went less than 100%. i really got the feeling that things work like clockwork for his rental all the time, and when this small glitch came up, he really cared about us, the customer. he quickly fixed the situation, more than to our satisfaction. our vacation turned out better than we could have imagined. i highly recomend this renter, and i believe he has two cabins in the area. rent from him and you will definitely be satisfied!

The house is very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, secure, and convenient. The game room and the kitchen were our favorite places. The whole hose smells really good at all times. The owner is very helpful and easy to reach. It has a lot of activities in a very close distance. All of my friends want to go back there for winter and summer. I am sure you will love it too.

If you are interested in staying in the pocono area at all this place is great. It's located in a very secure community with private security that is very thorough. The owner of the house is very polite and helpful with the home and he's very easy to get in touch with may you need anything. The neighbors across the street are super nice and actually helped us out in a snow storm while we were there. Within about 10mins or so of all local shopping and the outlets, nice sized yard, beautiful deck and bbq, wonderfully situated house with a huge open floor plan great for both family gatherings or a get together with some friends.. Just make sure you please leave the house clean like they give it to you because it's a nice place to stay. I hope you enjoy! -Sean
