Description of the Tobyhanna vacation home rental

You’ll love our vacation rental home located in the heart of Poconos. This 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths house is in a private, gated community in Camelback/Mt.Pocono area. This totally renovated spacious place has a fully equipped kitchen, skylights, ceiling fans or tower fans in every room, washer and dryer, plasma flat screen TVs, Satellite programming with HD channels, DVD players, Wi-Fi network, patio, BBQ grill, and much more.
House sleeps 14.
Bed sizes – 3 queen, 1 king, 2 bunk beds with twin on top and full on bottom. Full size pullout couch in TV room. Also 2 roll-away cots are available.
For our little guests we have a pack-n-play with a mattress, and a plastic baby bath tub.
Bring your own linens and towels, and you’ll be all set for a great time away from home.

Area Information

Camelback Mountain now offers Zip Lines, TreeTop Adventures, Mountain Segway Tours, and Camelbeach Water Park. We are 15 miles away from the Camelback and Alpine Mountains, and also about 1/2 an hour away from Jack Frost and Big Boulder Mountains, H2O indoor water park by Lake Harmony, and Pocono Raceway.
Crossings Factory Outlet stores, skiing, tubing, golf, Mt. Airy Casino, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, fishing and many more Pocono activities are 15-20 minutes from the community.
I-80 and the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike are both within a few miles. Hourly daily bus service and also a rail service make for an easy commute to New York City and Philadelphia.

I recently stayed at this property in October and had a great time. We were 4 couples and 1 child. It was perfect because 2 couples took the 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor and the other 2 couples and 1 child took the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The first floor is roomy: nice modern kitchen (buy garbage bags, paper towels, kitchen sponge, and kitchen rag), ample living room that leads to dining room and a seperate family room. The 1st floor also has a full bathroom. The home had cable and the family room was really comfortable. All of the tables (dining room, outdoor patio) have seating for 8+ which was super convenient. The furniture was nice, clean, and modern. The 1st floor had a combination of nice pergo floor, ceramic, and carpet. The upstairs bedrooms were equally as roomy. The room with the 2 bunk beds was especially large. We had a great time. We played board games in the dining room, watched tv in the family room, and grilled out back. The back patio had a good weber grill. Once we cleaned out the grates and changed the gas it was cooking well. It also had a fire pit which we gathered the patio chairs around to make s'mores. We went rafting about 45 min away. The lake is right behind the property but the common area for the lake is a couple blocks away. Overall we had a great time and we will likely use this property again. The owner is super responsive & communicative & professional.

Rent a house for a month was worth all the money

We rent the house from July 8,2011 until August 7, 2011. It was a very nice, big, clean house. We had a lot of fun there. Rooms were big and beds were comfortable to sleep in. Kitchen is stacked so you don't need to bring anything to the house. The owners were pleasant to talk to and were very nice to answer all the questions that we had. Community is also very nice clean and quite. They have several pools that you can go to. The shopping area is very close 5-7 min drive. All in all we had a very good time and sure will come back again.

Very Nice and Easy to Use Home

We stayed at the house for a week. It was clean, spacious, nice setting, and wonderful place to be. The owners was very nice and esy to work with throughout the planning procees; they were communicative and responsive. I think many people could have a nice vacatio here.
