Hike the property, fish or launch a kayak off the shores of the New River. Take a bike ride along the river or head to nearby Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking trails to waterfalls and lookouts. The Todd Park is across the street and the quaint town of Todd is down the road while Boone is only 20 minutes away with ski mountains, shopping and restaurants. The house is off a plowed road, so it has easy access in all types of weather.

Nearby activities and attractions in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains are available in all seasons. From October Though November enjoy the vibrant colors of leaf season, December thru March brings winter skiing,tubing and Christmas tree selections, April Through September is perfect for hiking the Parkway or to the top of Grandfather Mountain and in Summer, head down the road to the Todd Depot for renting kayaks, tubes for the river or bikes for the trail. Visit the historic Todd Mercantile and General store for home made treats or quaint shops and restaurants in Boone, Banner Elk or Blowing Rock.
