Typical "Troglodyte" cottage near owners house (XVIII century)an ancient wine property. Wonderful setting overlooking lovely center of village with the church (XIè century. Sitting/dining room with tv/video, ornamental bread oven and kitchen area with d/washer & washer/dryer. Bath/shower room. Wc. Triple bedrm with king size bed, sgle bed, fireplace & door to south facing terrace.Electric heating. For your spare time a billiard room in the cottage, with an extra bed for 2 personn. Rochecorbon is a beautiful town well known for its limestone cliffs & troglodyte houses. Tours, the city of art & history, is full of interest and holds a market daily is at 4 kms. You can walking along the river Loire between Rochecorbon and Tours, in the village you have restaurants, a baker, a butcher near the cottage. Rochecorbon is surrounded by vineyards

Tours, located between the Loire and the Cher, is acclaimed as a "Town of Art and History", and has no shortage of ways to attract visitors. When the St Gatien Cathedral is lit up at night, you can see the four centuries of architecture that went into its construction. Even more beautifully, the eighteenth century stained glass bursts into life. The streets Rue Colbert, Rue Briçonnet and Rue de Grand Marche are lined with gorgeous half-timbered houses. The wood panelled style is also used in the buildings around the historic centre of Tours, the Plumereau Square. Tours is also home to the world's only Guild Museum, which brings together some of the greatest pieces of works produced by guilds throughout the ages.
You can also visit the castles of the french Kings (Chambort, Chenonceau, Azay le Rideau) and the wines cellars of Vouvray, Chinon, Bourgueuil
