The large,private beach is concreted with steps into the river for your convenience. You can enjoy a meal outside on the deck, at a large picnic table provided or inside if you prefer and enjoy the serenity of the river from all three. This cottage has two bedrooms and one bath. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals with the great outdoors still in view. This quiet and serene cottage is a great get away from it all. Mimosa Bend is located in beautiful Townsend Tennessee. Townsend is considered the peaceful side of the Smokeys. You are minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Also nearby are several restaurants, Tuckaleechee Caverns, The Passion Play, golfing, bicycling, antique shops, horseback riding and more. Less than 30 minutes away from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge with unlimited shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. Sking and ice skating are also avaiable in Gatlinburg. You might enjoy a delightful day of adventure in the park while picnicing or driving around Cades Cove Loop Road. This road has many historic home sites, an old mill, and usually a great place to view wildlife in their natural setting. Enjoy majestic Smoky Mountain views from your car or perhaps from a trail hike. This is a gorgeous place to take breathtaking photos to take home and remember your trip.

Bring your own kayak, canoe or tubes to launch from your private beach. Great bicycling trails are located about a mile away. Mimosa Bend cottage is located on a two lane road that follows Little River and is used by bicyclist year round.
