Description of the Traverse City vacation home rental

Bi-level 2500 sq ft. home, sits on a very private peninsula that splits Green Lake - a 2000 acre all sports lake, 15 minutes from Traverse City. This 4 bedroom, 3 bath home has been extensively renovated. You enter the upper level (street level) through the huge 3 season room that will comfortably seat 20. The room has 3 large windows that overlook the back yard and beach area. A kitchen area separates the 3 season room from the 2nd living area on the upper level. Two bedrooms and two baths are also located on this level - a Master with a Queen and a bedroom on the other side of the house with a set of bunkbeds. A large deck is just off the living area, ideal for sitting with that first cup of coffee in the morning and watching the sun rise across the lake.
The downstairs has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Everyone's favorite bedroom, has a huge Up North queen rustic bed, that provides a breathtaking morning wakeup view of the sun rising on the lake. The 2nd bedroom has a set of twin beds. Also located on this level is a gameroom with a Foosball table and a 3rd living area. This living area has a new Queen size sofa sleeper.
The outside has 150 feet of lake frontage with a sandy beach. For those cool nights, a fire ring and seating is available right on the lake. To keep the kids entertained, the large trees have a Zip Line and a tire swing. To keep Dad entertained, a large hammock hangs in the shade of the trees. Enjoy those beautiful summer days, cooking out on the grill and seating up to 10 people at the large picnic table.
Green Lake is stocked with plenty of fish and motorized boats are allowed....so bring your boat and tie it up to our 100 foot long dock. The lake has 2 publis boat ramps, one on each side of the lake. The lake has a hard sandy bottom and is ideal for the kids to swim in. The swim area extends for several hundred feet before it gradually begins to get deeper - an ideal warm water area for the kids.
The house is completely furnished with everything needed for your family vacation - beds and baths are furnished with linens, blankets and towels. The kitchen has it all - full size refrigerator, stove/oven, new Bosch dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, glasses, pots and pans, utensils, and full size pantry. Located in a separate laundry room is a laundry sink and a new Bosch front loading washer and dryer.

The house sits directly across the lake from Interlochen State Park and the Interlochen Fine Arts / Music Academy - both are only a 5 minute drive.
A short drive in any direction provides a variety of entertainment - Traverse City with it's shopping, dining and Cherry Festival; Crystal Mountain with it's winter sports; The Great Sand Dunes for the explorers.
And in your backyard.... one of the quietest, most beautiful lakes in Michigan.

• Lodging Tax: 6% included in stated rental
   
• Deposits: In order to secure your dates, a deposit equal to 1/2 the rental rate is required to be submitted with a completed contract. Remainder of balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. Security (damage) deposit of $500(refundable) is due 30 days prior to check-in. Damage deposit will be mailed back within 7 days from check-out.
   
• Other Fees: All fees (Cleaning and Lodging Tax) are included in the stated rental price.

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was more then what we expected. The lake is wonderfully clean and we really enjoyed taking the pontoon boat out daily. We only had one small problem and the owner acknowledged it and handled it without question. I would certainly rent this home again!

This is a great place to stay for a family that is large and needs their space. I was amazed at how much room we all had and how great the sun room was for everyone as we could shut the door to the rest of the house and watch TV or just play games. The pontoon is a must if you go and great on gas! My family enjoyed boating around the lake and fishing for blue gills. The house has everything and anything you need! Just bring yourself and your clothes! This area is very quiet and on a dead end street that allows beautiful and peacful walks at anytime....the neighbors are very friendly too! My family and I will have a hard time topping this home. Parrish Family

Were to begin? This was our first trip to Michigan and it was better than we could have ever expected. The Collin's home on Green Lake was just perfect. The rental came with everything you could possibly need and room to spare. Don't forget to rent the pontoon boat - you'll be sorry if you don't. The area and lake was peaceful and laid back - no need to rush if your don't want. There is so much to see and do in and around Traverse City - we highly recommend the area for a vation and the Collin's home is the prefect home base for the trip of a life time.

This home was beautiful. Everything looks/is brand new and has every ammentity you could ask for. My kids loved the zipline, tire swing and huge beach area. We loved the fire pit, boat and privacy. The large family room easily fit my family of 10- with room for everyone. The kitchen has every appliance you would need, and the front loader washer/dryer was great! We would definitely rent this home again. Beautiful!
