Write a review Awesome weekend for our annual girl's outing. My granddaughters usually want to stay in the pool. The surf was so calm they thought they were swimming in a salty pool. Couldn't get them out of the ocean. Accomadations were great with everything we could possibly want or need. Friendly locals and visitors.Sunrises and sunsets over the water were magnificent. Granddaughters are wondering when we can go back. Belinda Carlisle was right, Heaven IS a place on earth, right on Sunset Beach and Mary's condo is the cherry on top! Very clean, spacious, it literally had everything to make our vacation absolute paradise. Excellent communication and smooth rental procedure. The locals are very friendly and the ocean front and sunset views were breathtaking! Excellent ocean swimming. Soft white sands. Spent a great deal shell collecting and watching various birds dive into the water for fish. Caddy's (casual beach restaurant) and 7-11 within 5-10minutes walk. If you plan to rent bikes, it's best to take the trolley to Lenny's Surf Shop (lennyssurfshop dot com) for it can be a hike, esp under that hot Florida sun! We plan to return only next time for a longer stay. Thank you for making long lasting memories of our wonderful paradise vacation on Sunset Beach. THIS CONDO WAS SO WELL EQUIPPED FOR VACATIONERS ON THE BEACH. THERE WERE BEACH CHAIRS, UMBRELLA, TRUNK OF SAND TOYS FOR THE KIDS,PLENTY OF BEACH TOWELS!!YOU COULD GO THERE AND BASICALLY TAKE NOTHING BUT YOUR CLOTHES. THE CONDO WAS VERY CLEAN AND EVERYTHING WAS IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER. ONLY PROBLEM WAS WITH THE WATER. DURING OUR WEEK, THE WEATHER WAS BEAUTIFULLY SUNNY, BUT A WILD WIND MADE THE WATER VERY CHOPPY WITH HIGH WAVES. THIS HAPPENED AT LEAST 4 DAYS OUT OF THE WEEK. THE POOL WAS AVAILABLE AND WELL USED DURING THIS TIME. IF YOU SURF,YOU WOULD LOVE IT. I AM TOLD THAT THIS WAS VERY UNUSUAL FOR THE WATER TO BE SO ROUGH. DON'T LET THIS KEEP YOU FROM TRYING THIS CONDO. IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY AND SO COMFY. We spent 4 days at this location after coming off Disney & SeaWorld in Kissimmee! Talk about total relaxation! Beach was awesome, shelling for the kids was awesome and location could not have been better! King bed was VERY comfortable! This condo was perfect in every way and would rent again in a heartbeat! The picture pefect sunsets were the icing on the cake! SUPER SUPER SUPER!! We fell in love with this condo! The location was a perfect relaxation spot. The condo was clean and beautiful! We will definately be back. I believe that there is a time and place for everything. This condo is so relaxing and welcoming! If you are looking for an enjoyable, relaxing get away from the fast paced, high-pressured lifestyles of today this is a GREAT place to go to unwind and enjoy a good book on the beach. This condo is about a five minute walk to Caddy*s on the Beach (Family oriented beach bar/restaurnant with a couple of singers/musicians nightly and good food). It is located about two miles from St. John*s Pass that has lots of shops and restaurants. The sunsets are definitely, "Glorious" watching them from the balcony of this condo! We stayed here for a week. We feel in love with Florida that we are going to move there. The condo is in a great area it's so beautiful with really nice people around. If I wasn't going to move to Florida I'd vacation here again no doubt! The beach is right there! You can't go wrong by renting this location. The only problem I could find with the property is "You'll Have to Leave." Without a doubt, I would make this my vacation destination year after year. We saw dolphins, manatees, a water spout, and a wedding on the beach. Firsts for all of us. The water is beautiful, the people are all so very nice and friendly. I just can't say enough about how GREAT this location is. The condo itself is so nice and clean. Everything you need to enjoy yourself on the beach is provided. Absolute perfection! THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL. We have had easy access to Florida West Coast beaches for many years and have really found a gem. Sunset Beach on Treasure Island and the condo was wonderful. The complex was clean, people were friendly and the beach was right there. We have found a new home for our beach excursions. The condo had everything we needed! The kitchen is well equiped. It was spacious and had comfortable beds. Our annual girls getaway has found a permanent location! Lovely condo, on a quiet streach of beach. Close to wonderful restaurants and recreation. Just what we were looking for. My husband and I recenly spent a week at Sunset Chateau on Treasure Island. How glorious to walk the quiet beach each morning and gather shells!The views from the front at sunset were truly breath taking and we even got a glimpse of sunrise from our bedroom window. We met many nice snowbirds who made for great neighbors. It felt as if we were quickly immersed into a wondeful community. We also liked the proximity to Ft. Desoto. We have lived in Lakeland and spent many vacations on the beaches of Sarasota but we had never really explored this part of the Gulf Coast. We will definitely plan a return trip! We both hated to depart at weeks end and the only saving feature was that it was cloudy and raining upon our departure so it make it a little easier to leave. The rental process went very smoothly and the condo was everybit as nice as the photos showed. Thanks for a great vacation!
