If you want to get away from it all without ending up alone in the middle of the woods somewhere…Welcome to Water’s Edge, a sweet 1 bedroom cottage on Western Bay.
Water’s Edge is no more than a 10 drive to Mount Desert Island and another 10-15 minutes to Acadia National Park, affording you easy access to all points of interest—from downtown Bar Harbors’ shopping and dining, to the hikes and sites of Acadia—yet your bayside cottage allows you the luxury of peace and quiet away from the crowds and cars.
A wall of windows in the main living area offers you gorgeous water views and breathtaking sunrises. Walk down to the water from your front door to launch your canoe or set a chair near the shore and plop down to read that book you’ve been dying to open. Water's Edge is in a very small and friendly neighborhood that will make you feel right at home the moment you arrive!
Water’s Edge sleeps up to four with a queen bed and also a sleeper/sofa in the main living area. The kitchen is well equipped and paper products such as paper towels and toilet tissue, dish, dishwasher, and laundry soap, are provided. (Guests need to supply their own personal toiletry items and beach towels.) There is a gas grill and lawn chairs. We are a pet friendly property but you must have prior approval to bring your pet. Please ask about our Pet Policy when you inquire about booking Water's Edge.
