Description of the Tryon vacation cottage rental

Welcome to Woodlane House, your "Home Away from Home" in beautiful Polk County, North Carolina. Woodlane House is a four-bedroom residence in Columbus, North Carolina (40 miles south of Asheville on I-26) fully furnished and serviced for medium-length stays, rented by the week or month-to-month. It's an economical, pleasant, and quiet place to live while you're working on temporary assignment in the area, or while your new home is being built in fast-growing Polk County.

Polk County is located halfway between Asheville, North Carolina and Spartanburg, South Carolina "where the foothills meet the mountains". Majestic White Oak Mountain (elevation 3,300 feet) rises just above Woodlane House.
