Nice condo

January 6, 2015

We had a nice experience renting this property for four nights between Christmas and New Years. We were visiting family nearby and the location was very convenient for us. Our party included myself, my husband, and our two high school aged kids. Everyone had ample space and was comfortable. The unit feels like it may have been built as "handicap accessible" because the doorways are wide and the spaces are large. However, someone in a wheelchair could not access this property because you cannot get there without going up or down a very large flight of stairs. The complex is built into a hillside and you can park below it and walk up or park above it and walk down stairs. That was not a problem for our family, but if you cannot easily do stairs this unit would not be a good choice. Everything was very clean and neutral - not luxury materials but not old and dated. The only problem we had was that the master bathroom toilet ran continuously if you didn't go back and jiggle the handle. We probably should have called maintenance but we were so busy with activities we didn't get a chance. For us it was a nice alternative to staying in two hotel rooms where we wouldn't really see our kids at all. We almost rented the three bedroom unit, but decided to rent this two bedroom unit because they set the master bedroom up with a king sized bed and the other bedroom up as two twin beds, where our two kids stayed. The second bathroom was very large and great for two teenagers. The beds were regular beds, not overly nice but not bad either. The pillows were on the hard side and very large. There were more than enough pillows but not the squishy kind we are used to. But that wasn't too big of a problem. Overall, it was a nice option, provided our family with a bit more closeness than a hotel would have and was very affordable.

Totally Enjoyed Our Stay

February 3, 2014

We rented this lovely condo for two weeks and we wished it could hve been longer. The accommodations were perfect...comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms. Plenty of towels and bed linens were supplied. The exercise room and the swimming pool were well maintained and a short walk from the condo. The location in the Catalina Foothills is a wonderful section of the Tucson area. It's convenient to Sabino Canyon, Saguaro National Park, golf courses and many other places to see and enjoy. We would love to be able to stay at this Tuscon condo again sometime in the future.
