Santa Fe custom 4 bd/3 ba, 2508 square foot home nestled on 5 acres in a secluded Oro Valley neighborhood at the base of the Tortolita Mountains. This home is a perfect retreat for hikers and nature lovers as access to Tortolita Mountain Park is out your front door. Golfers will be thrilled to be staying minutes from some of the most renowned golf courses in Tucson. 360 degree views surround this beautiful home with sunsets that are literally breathtaking! Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious covered patio while viewing the sunrise over the Catalina mountains. And... after the sun has set, just sit back or take a dip in the Spa and enjoy the twinkling of Tucson's city lights.

Every room in this house has incredible views of the desert and surrounding mountains... even in the master bath shower and laundry room! A spacious great room is designed with high vega beam ceilings opening to a covered patio that spans the length of the house. Another flagstone patio is situated at the front of the house. All four bedrooms are arranged to enjoy views from bed, if you wish. The large master bedroom has a luxury king pillow-top mattress, walk-in shower (with views), walk-in closets, beautiful furnishings, and sliding glass door access to the covered patio. Guest rooms 2 and 3 are tastefully furnished with queen beds, and both have awesome views. Guest room 3 doubles as an office with a queen sofa sleeper, and yes, it too has terrific views. The dining room can seat 8-10 with sliding door access to the patio, and, you guessed it... more views!

If you want to stay connected, bring your laptop as wireless internet access is anywhere in or outside of the house.

Situated in Oro Valley at base of the Tortolita mountains, you will be mesmerized by the beauty and tranquility of the area. Enjoy expansive panoramic views of the Catalina mountains and Pusch Ridge, as well as the Tucson and Tortolita mountains. This relaxing retreat is minutes from great restaurants, shopping, and world class golf courses.

For the golfer, your vacation home is only minutes from some of the best golfing in Tucson. To name only a few, the Gallery Golf Club, home of the Accenture Match Play Championship, is only 15 minutes west. The Golf Club at Vistoso is 12 minutes east and the El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort is 12 minutes south. Tucson National Golf Resort is 20 minutes south.

Hiking, exploring, mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, wildlife viewing, resort spas, tennis, shopping, fine dining, and... relaxing. Outdoor jacuzzi is located on the back covered patio. Access to the owner's private Sports Club is available by request. This Sports Club has a large resort style pool and lap pool, work out gym, fitness classes, tennis and volleyball courts. The Sports Club is 9 miles from the house(a 15 minute drive).

We were here for a golf trip with a large group of guys and we had the advantage of staying at Hacienda Tortolita-the environment is everything one would come to Tucson/Oro Valley for- serene and peaceful would be the best discription I could come up with- the vista of the desert mountains and the Catalinas is unmatched and the view of the city lights is great- Great place to sit on a patio or hot tub and contemplate life! And I never missed watching the sunrises either. Lots of wildlife to listen to and enjoy. Very, very comfortable- sad to leave after four days, but anxious for my return next year! And the owner is the best! Great instructions and concern for our enjoyment- Highly recommend this rental property for an unparalled experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hacienda Tortolita. The views of Tucson at night were fantastic and the weather during our stay was unbelievable. The quiet solitude of the high desert after a long day in the city was wonderful. The house is spacious and had everything we needed during our stay. All we had to pickup was groceries. We like the property so much that we plan on returning next year.

My family convened in Arizona for Christmas and the house accommodated all 10 of us very well. The layout is perfect; we felt comfortable, at ease, and never crowded. The views are glorious and we loved being on the patio. The hiking trails are fun, too. All in all a highly recommended house in a fabulous area of Arizona.

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to gather for our daughter's wedding! We were joined by our new son-in-law's family as well as our younger daughter's boyfriend and her best friend. Hacienda Tortolita felt like home to all. The views were spectacular, the patio was relaxing and perfect for dining and enjoying the city lights. Easy access to hiking, golf, shopping,...I'm not sure how you could ask for anything more. After a fun-filled day, it truly felt like we were "coming home". We look forward to returning and would highly recommend Hacienda Tortolita to anyone who is looking for their own desert "heaven on earth".

Hacienda Tortolita was the perfect place for our family to gather for our daughter's wedding. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. In a short period of time Hacienda Tortolita felt like our home away from home. The views were fantastic and the evenings were very delightful on the patio. It only takes 20 minyues to be in the city. We are looking forward to visiting Hacienda Tortolita in the near future. I would highly recommend Hacienda Tortolita as a great Southwest vacation experience.

My golf buddies and I found this to be a great place to relax and unwind. While it appears to be out in the middle of nowhere, it took us less than 15 minutes to get over to Vistoso and The Gallery....both great tracks. The hottub soothed the muscles and the unbelievable views, combined with cold beer, soothed the thirst and the soul. Internet access, dish TV, comfy rooms....what more could you ask for? Even better than expected!

The house was the perfect vacation home! If you like to be surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the mountains, surrounding foothills, and the city, then this is the place! The house was beautiful and very comfortable, and surrounded by cactus just starting to bloom. It only takes 20 minutes to get to the city and all the attractions that make Tucson great.
