Pool never worked correctly. TV sets were never working properly. We personally cleaned entire home and guest house prior to our family arrival. Pool table pockets had to be taped up to work. Very disappointing. Would not return.

This is a beautiful house in a great setting, but it has not been well-maintained. The pool was in need of professional attention and we could not use it for the first two days of our stay. It wasn't until I had the water tested, cleaned the traps and filter and recommended the necessary pool chemical balancing did the owner reluctantly send someone to add the chemicals. I brushed and cleaned the debris from the pool to make it safe and usable. General upkeep of the house is lax and the three bedrooms in the main house are interconnected with pocket doors so there is no real privacy. The guest house was in better condition, but required two spray cans of Febreze to kill an off-odor. On a positive note, the view of the city and mountains was great.

Where to begin, when we got there the pool was full of algae and the water was murky and dirty, not useable for about 6 days, dishwasher didn't work, grounds and gardens were in desperate need of TLC, garage looked like a used junk storage. Sewer smell was atrocious everyday for about an hour or two in the mornings, the whole house was in need badly of some work/repairs, ex. broken cupboard doors, broken door latches, lights didn't work, fans didn't work, we went ahead and repaired some of these things ourselves, we were told a pool maintenance guy would be there once a week - he only came when we complained about lack of chemicals for the pool (3 times in 5 weeks) When the cleaning people came during our stay they didn't even vacuum the place. Overall we were not happy with the place, but made the best of it, the home does have a beautiful view and at one time was a very nice home, but seriously needs some looking after. The add says sateen bedding, they had cheap cotton sheets.
