Great for family and friends, sleeping 8-10. This spacious, beautifully decorated home has a heated pool complete with jacuzzi and water features, a 600 sq ft Arizona room, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms including spacious master suite, gourmet kitchen and second complete kitchen, laundry room, very open, flowing floor plan with comfortable living spaces, 3 TV's, DVD, internet and stereo speakers inside and out, outdoor gas and charcoal bbq's and indoor and outdoor fireplaces, three car garage and horse facilities.
This is a dream vacation location with easy access to central and downtown Tucson with golf courses, hiking, cycling, shopping and restaurants close by. Great location for day trips to areas outside of Tucson.

A perfect oasis, and close to everything

Two friends and I spent a week in Tucson, to explore the area and visit the Gem and Mineral show. All exceeded expectations, but the highlight was our stay at Rancho Privado. The pictures do not do it justice - a sprawling bungalow on exquisite land; fully appointed with lovely art - and very welcoming and comfortable. We began and ended our busy days in this peaceful, beautiful oasis, and feeding the miniature donkeys! Our hosts Lisa and Ray were welcoming and helpful, providing lots of information. The Gem and Mineral Show was worth the visit and we loved Tubac, an artists' enclave just an hour south. A drive to the top of Mount Lemmon was harrowing, but the views spectacular. A perfect vacation for 3 hard working women! We came back recharged and with great memories -- all anchored in our stay at the lovely Rancho Privado. It was simply perfect. Thanks Lisa and Ray!

Wonderful oasis

We stayed at La Finca for a sister's reunion and had an amazing time. The home is beautiful and the decor was exceptional. We spent many mornings drinking coffee on the patio and enjoyed the lush landscape. It truly is an oasis in the desert. I wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities. and plan to return the next time we are in Tucson. I would highly recommend staying here.

A Wonderful Winter Break with Friends

Our group of 8 friends really covered the ground in Tucson. The location of this house was perfect for access to the Tucson Gem and Mineral show, hiking and birdwatching (saw the rare Phenopepla in a tree outside the house) in the nearby mountains and parks, even driving to Patagonia and Tubac for one day. But we really enjoying morning coffee in the spacious kitchen area and that evening glass of local and/or South American, Italian, French wine purchased at nearby stores. Several meals were enjoyed at the huge dinning table where we all fit comfortably. The men cooked perfect steaks and ahi one night on the barby while the women relaxed and chatted. Everything was supplied for our kitchen needs from a large assortment of pots and pans to spices. The bathrooms were very clean and just right for our needs. Now we need to come back in the spring to see the trees and flowers bloom.

We rented this property for a Thanksgiving family get together and were more than pleasantly surprised. The home is beautiful, the property is clean and quiet and the miniature donkeys were so much entertainment. The owners where very helpful. Even though it was near midnight when we arrived we were met at the home and given the grand tour complete with margaritas. The owners were always available for our many questions and requests. So many times we rent from online only to find the pictures not true to the home. This was not the case here. We would deffinately return and recommend it to anyone considering a grand stay in Tucson.

Our USTA tennis team qualified for the Sectional Championship in Tucson. We wanted a reward for a good league season. We rented Rancho Privado and were certainly rewarded. It was everything we could hope for. The house was huge, well furnished and maintained and the owners were very attentive to detail. We will certainly return in the future.

A Great Family Getaway

We just returned from a wonderful week at Rancho Privado. We were six adults, a two-year-old and a baby. The house was fantastic - lots of space and well equipped. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and feeding carrots to the donkeys. The grounds were lovely - lots of seating areas and an outdoor fireplace (which, regrettably, we didn't use). Safeway, restaurants and shops are a quick drive from the house. Ray and Lisa were fantastic hosts. We will definitely return.

The property, the house and the owners couldn't be better. Everything we expected and so much more! The 3 donkeys in residence added to the experience. The house and grounds would be perfect for a family reunion. Highly recommended and Ray and Lisa went out of there way to ensure our stay was pleasant.

We just got back from a trip to Tucson for our wedding. We rented Rancho Privado for our wedding weekend and I am so happy we did! It was absolutely amazing, the pictures really do not do it justice. The house and grounds are unbelievable! We had such a good time relaxing and saying hi to the donkeys who walk up to you like a dog would. They are the cutest ever! I know that our wedding weekend would not have been as wonderful had we not stayed at the ranch. We are already counting down the days when we can stay again for an anniversary!

Our week at Rancho Privado was ideal. There were 12 of us counting our 2 grandchildren who slept on an air mattress in the master bedroom. We were in Tucson visiting family and celebrating a family reunion. Because of the layout of the home (actually two houses joined by an enclosed large breezeway,) my sister-in-law and her husband and adult son were able to enjoy quiet and privacy away from the "main" house. Lisa and Ray could not have been more accommodating. While respecting our privacy, they made certain someone was always available in case there was anything we needed. The home is gorgeous. The property beautifully maintained and spacious. Heated swimming pool and hot tub. Jacuzzi in the master bedroom. Everything we needed was provided. There are outside cats, horses,and three adorable miniature donkeys which our grandchildren loved petting and feeding. Rancho Privado exceeded our expectations. We could not have been more pleased.

Our stay at Rancho Privado was very relaxing and enjoyable. The Rancho made you feel like you were out in the middle of the country but yet Tucson was a very short drive. We wish we would of explored more of the Tucson area but we just couldn't leave the Ranch.

Was remarkable, the whole place. We enjoyed the house, the grounds, the donkeys. Our hosts, Lisa and Ray, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The house is beautiful, the grounds are full of flowers and water features. Very relaxing, but fun. The donkeys could not help but make you smile. We will come back.
