Description of the Tunbridge vacation cabin rental

Fully furnished with two bedrooms and two onsuite bathrooms, central heating and lookalike log gas stove. Large deck with Weber barbecue grill. Our Log Cabin was designed to be comfortable for a family or two couples. There are two large bedrooms, one with king-size bed and one with two full beds, both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers and whirlpool baths. There is a loft area with satellite TV, DVD player and a futon for extra sleeping. We supply all linens and towels.The kitchen is well equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, coffeepot and toaster. All cooking utensils and dishware for 6 people is provided.There is a laundry area in the basement with washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board.

Situated on a hillside at the front edge of our private woods, overlooking the meadow and the tree topped valley of the White River's first branch, the Four Seasons Log Cabin is the ideal setting from which to explore the surrounding ninety acres of private property.

If you are looking for adventure, your doorstep is the gateway to some of Vermont's most amazing hiking countryside, trails for mountain biking, and rivers for swimming, fishing, and canoeing. During our spectacular winters, there is downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, or even snow mobiling on the VAST trails.

If you just want to relax there are paths though the woods and couple nice picnic areas. The hammock by the stream is a favorite summer place.

Vermont Heaven

Our trip to Vermont was at the end of a visit to Montreal to visit our son at McGill. My husband, son and myself were looking for a respite from the city. When I found this beautiful cabin on the Vacation Rentals site I fell in love with it and was so excited that our stay would fit into the schedule for Ruth and Larry, the owners. We arrived in the dark after a gorgeous ride through the forest. Larry had called to check on our progress getting to the cabin because it was after dark and they were concerned about us. The first thing we saw was a beacon of light on top of a hill showing us the way to the cabin. The cabin is beautiful and has been created and decorated with much love. We were surprised to hear that Larry had built it. The rooms were spacious. Ruth's decorating is beautiful. Look for her porcelain creations and paintings in the cabin. It was more than we had ever expected. The location is beautiful. Ruth and Larry live at the bottom of the hill in a large, lovely home. Larry had so much information to share with us about the area and his 90 acres. Finn, their Westie, was a delight! Unfortunately Ruth was at a class on our first day and we did not get to meet her. However, that night she came up to the cabin just to meet us. She is charming! They are vacation home rental owners who have a passion for their guests' comforts and for providing all of the necessities and even more for each of their guests. We wished we could have stayed longer, but our schedule did not permit it. I would recommend staying there during any season. There is even a beautiful pond which is frozen in the winter for ice skating. We were in Vermont heaven for two nights!

The cabin was beautiful and quite.The location was perfect.Looking down the mountain side.Larry and Ruth were great to talk to.My wife and I plan on returning in the spring,since we had to leave early due to hurricane Sandy.

Staying at this cabin was awesome! The driveway is lined with beautiful flowers and there are even blackberry bushes. The land is well landscaped and maintained. The cabin is spacious, a well equipped kitchen, and very neat and clean. The view from the deck is very picturesque. Ruth and Larry (the owners) are very hospitable and know how to make a person feel welcomed and comfortable. Having a washer and a dryer is very helpful. There are not enough words to describe what a wonderful experience it is to stay here. We hated to leave when our stay was up, so much so we extended our stay by a day. If you are looking for a place for beauty, peacefulness, acreage to walk, and also to have owners who truly care about the ones who rent this is definitely the place you want to stay. It is by far the best place we have rented for a vacation!

As You Go Up The Winding Road Leading To The Cabin Its Like Entering A New World. The Cabin Sits On A High Hill Overlooking Meadow And Woods. The Property Is Well Maintained And Larry And Ruth Make Sure Every Need That You May Have Or Need Is Taken Care Of. The Cabin Itself Is Large And Spacious But What Stands Out The Mostis How Clean And Maintained It Is. The Kitchen And Living Room Area Are Very Spacious. The Downstairs Bedroom Has Two Twin Beds And Your Own Bathroom With A Shower And A Jacuzzi. The Loft Area Has A Tv And Futon To Enjoy. Upstairs Bedroom A A King Size Bed And Again It's Own Bathroom With A Shower/ Jacuzzi Combination. It Has Everything You Could Possibly Need And If You Need Something Just Call The Owners And They Are Right There To Accomatate You. Just A Fantastic Vacation Spot And The Best I'veever Stayed At In All The Years Going Too Vt.

I rented the cabin with my friend and our kisd. We went for opening weekend of the rifle deer season. Although we didn't get a deer we had an awesome weekend. Everyone loved the cabin as well as the land and the host and hostess couldn't have been more hospitable. We hope to stay there again many more times.
