The six unit building has an indoor pool that is solar* heated year round.

*solar heating means temps vary with the weather(average water temp March - Sept is 82 degrees)

201 Duneside is centrally located on the south end of Tybee Island within walking distance to many restaurants, the famous Tybee Island Pier, and the Tybresia shopping strip.
Year round there's plenty to do. Bicycle rentals are around the corner as well as surfing, kayak rentals, mini motor car rentals and more. The beach is full of white powder sand and at the right time of the day, you can walk out on the reef and see hundreds of starfish. Shell collectors from all over come to Tybee Beach.
Over the bridge is mini golf and a wildlife preserve with acres of walking trails.
18 short miles from the beach is downtown Savannah with all it's history, charm and ghosts. Walk along the Savannah River or sample the food and live music that only Savannah can offer.

You will never be bored on Tybee Island! At the beach you can surf, boogie board, or just collect shells. Listen to live music as you sip one of the locals favorite drinks and watch the sun set over the Atlantic.
There are bicycle rentals down the street. A bike path will take you from one end of the island to the other, along the ocean, along the river, and past the historic Tybee Island Lighthouse.
Check out the science museum where if you're lucky, you might see sea turtles making their journey to the sea. Go on a dolphin watching tour, or eat at the Crab Shack where you can see crocks basking in the sun!
If you think your luck is of a differnt kind, you can board the Lucky 7 Casino Boat which departs daily for a full day of winning!
Get a taste of the local art and the local fresh catch of the day right around the corner. If fine dining is what you would like, then walk 50 yards to the Hunter House for a gourmet meal.
For city activities, drive 18 minutes to downtown Savannah where the sights are numerous and the history is rich. Quaint and unique, Savannah has the old world charm of an old southern town complete with horse drawn carriage rides and river boat dinner cruises.

This was one of the nicest places I've stayed on a beach trip. It was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Our first visit to Tybee, but we definitely plan to return. The beach was great! And so convenient to be close to the pier and shops.

My family and I have been through a lot this year health issues and a death. We all needed a break from the day to day grind. Due to the death of my younger brother our mother is staying with us so she was with us on this vacation. Actually it was her first vacation ever. My mother told me as soon as she walked into the condo she felt relaxed and of all things she enjoyed the windows. We all had a relaxing time and wished our stay could have been longer. My husband stated when we come back he would stay at Duneside again.

Our family of 7 recently rented this condo and were very pleased with the decor,comfort and location. This unit is very tastefully decorated, clean and has lots of "homey" touches which makes it feel like your home away from home. We are planning on making this trip an annual event and hopefully, this unit will be available again!! Tybee Island is absolutely perfect for a family vacation and so close to Savannah, too. The ocean was very warm, the waves were fun to ride, the sand soft and the people friendly. The lighthouse is worth the climb and even if you are not a history buff, the forts are pretty amazing and educational. Oh, how we miss Tybee already!! If you are a family who enjoys cooking however, I suggest you bring along a couple large skillets. That is the only thing we found lacking.
