Description of the Tybee Island vacation condo rental
This beautiful condo features two unusual attractions. The first is an extremely comfortable king size bed. And, the second is the most wonderful spa shower that will start and end your day with total relaxation. I'm not kidding - this shower is a killer !
This condo was remodeled in 2009 for couples only or a single person just looking for a quiet beach getaway. It's just received another facelift in September 2012. You have yummy new carpet, more beadboard and new interior doors. I spare no effort to keep this condo fresh and updated for my guests.
We have secured WIFI for your convenience.
Please note - This condo is not available for children - a couple or single only - not 3 adults - 1 or 2 adults only.
The kitchen is all new with dishwasher and disposal. You have all kinds of small appliances including a waffle iron, crock pot and blender. An espresso maker was recently added so bring your stuff if you know how to make espresso. I don't but I want my guests to have special things during their visits.
The 32 inch TV/DVD in the living room is wall mounted to give you more room. A small TV is also on the wall in the bedroom. While many of the Racquet Club condos have bunkies in the hall, we have removed ours and installed a large closet. A built-in vanity is in the bedroom so you have somewhere for the ladies to primp.
The view from the second floor corner is beautiful. You have a clear east, north and west view and can see the Ga/SC bridge on a clear day.
This condo is the "bomb" as my son would say. It's really beautiful, comfortable and well stocked.
Area Information
Restaurants, night clubs and tourists attractions are close by. Ft. Pulaski (which you can see from your deck) and the Historic Tybee Lighthouse are close by.

Sunkissed revisited!

We had a great time even though the weather was bad. Gale force winds forced the harbor to shut down one day, but we still saw plenty of big ships. Went to city market and river street on Sunday (We love downtown Savannah) and Devonna bought her a handwoven sweetgrass basket from Oji Lakata on river street. She had always wanted one. He is a great person and fun to talk to. Anyone walking on River Street needs to watch for a guy with baskets lain out on the walk and stop and talk to him. We ate at Vic's and it was great! We love the weekends at city market. Sat. and Sunday is the time to be there. We spent our other days just hanging around at the condo and enjoying the view. Couldn't go outside much because of the weather, but your condo is so nice it didn't matter! Updates to condo were really nice since we were there in August. Hope we can come back by the end of the year. Thanks Patti!

Great condo with superb view

SunKisssed was great and I didn't want to leave! The view from this condo is just wonderful - we could even see Cockspur lighthouse in the distance. Was very relaxing sitting on the balcony watching the boats come and go, and the wildlife playing in the water. The condo is cozy and has an awesome shower, comfortable bed, tasteful decorations, nice kitchen, and we felt right at home. Tybee is a laid back sweet little jewel of an island, and the area around the Sav. Beach and Racquet Club is nice & quiet. Catch the sunset from the boardwalk at the condo, it is gorgeous! Go see/climb the Tybee Lighthouse, tour Ft. Pulaski, and take the hike out to Cockspur Light; We ate at The Crab Shack, AJ's, and Gerald's - I recommend them all. Thank you Patti for sharing your little slice of heaven with us, we hope to come back one day.

The Sandpiper was beautifully decorated. It was a cozy, homey atmosphere. It was a perfect trip for a girls getaway. My friend and I enjoyed our stay very much. The best thing is we didn't even have to turn on the stove. Pure joy watching the dolphins play everyday. Thank you Patti for your marvelous suggestion. It was much appreciated.

Perfect For A Couple!

We were looking for a Tybee condo for a weeks stay after finding ourselves with a quick change of vacation plans. Patti was quick to respond while others did not get back to us for days. SunKissed turned out to be more than perfect, it was special. Perfect for two adults. Yes the bed is great, the shower really nice .... but the overall experience is what makes this unit special. Clean, well appointed, the condo grounds are well maintained and of course the beach....... -- W would highly recommend this unit or any others that Patti has to offer.

An Oasis for us

Everything that is described and pictured is exactly on target...and then some! The space is calmly decorated and we felt at peace right away. The bed and luxury sheets gave us a wonderful sleep. The shower is equally relaxing. Oh and the towels too! We did not want for anything in the unit and the building and grounds of SBRC were impressive too. This was a great experience and we are grateful to Patti for being such a caring owner.

I love Tybee and Savannah Beach and Raquet Club! I have been coming to Tybee 21 years and this is by far my favorite condo! It has everything you could possibly need and the bonus of an incredible bed and shower! Its truly an amazing place and one of the best vacation or just short get-aways one could ever imagine! Love it.. love it!

SunKissed was wonderful as was Tybee and the food. I am glad to hear you are adding WiFi in the condo. That was a big thing to my husband. The bed is wonderful as is the shower. The furniture is comfortable "adult" like home. There were lots of dolfin every evening. We would definitely stay here again and reccommend it to friends.

Relaxing and Beautiful

My husband and I just spent our 30th wedding anniversary on Tybee Island. We were fortunate to find Sunkissed. This condo was not only beautifully decorated but the location on the Savannah River was just perfect. We were able to watch dolphins all day and at the end of the day we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. This was our 1st trip to Tybee Island and hope to return to our "new" favorite condo....Sunkissed!

A Touch of Paradise

My husband and I spent a delightful week in this condo at the beginning of February. We were extremely comfortable in the king-size bed. Every convenience was at hand, and the conscientious and meticulous attention to detail were evidence of a very caring owner. The spa shower was magnificent, and very refreshing at the beginning and ending of the day. The view from the balcony was delightful, and we spent many an hour out there looking at the ships, dolphins, and many shrimp boats. I would give this condo the highest rating, and compare it to any five-star hotel. When we returned home (and back to reality), we felt as though we had been on a month's holiday. Patti, and her charming son, Chris, were available to cater to our every need. We shall surely return, and I recommend SunKissed to any guest who is in need of pampering and relaxation. The condo is comfortable and welcoming. The condo is well stocked, the king size bed is comfortable and the spa shower is great. We enjoyed spending time on the beach and in the pool. Every afternoon/evening we were entertained by the dolphins. We would definitely come back.

My husband and I were so pleased with the condo. It was very comfortable like it could be a room in your own home, but only better being by the beach. We saw dolphins every single day either from the balcany or in the water at the beach. The king bed was awesome. We had a 24th anniversary that we will always cherish. .

What a magnificent view. The condo is splendid - everything as advertised - but the highlight truly is the view and proximity to the water. We saw dolphins everyday, and even though we ventured out to the island and Savannah, were so content to just enjoy the balcony, the waves and the sunsets!

We enjoyed the time we spent at SunKissed to get away from the winter weather in PA--very comfy bed and awesome shower! The place was spotless and very thoughtfully supplied. We got to walk on the beach, visit Savannah and relax by the pool. Our only complaints were the pool wasn't heated and wifi wasn't available in the condo, just by the pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at SunKissed. It has been upgraded with so many nice details. The bead board walls make this condo feel like a charming beach cottage. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved all the nice quality linens. It was a great idea to remove the bedroom wall to open it up and allow for a king size bed. Thanks letting us stay in your great unit. It's a fantastic place to enjoy the beach.

Our stay at SunKissed was delightful. As advertised the bed is very comfortable and well made with quality linens and the shower is to die for. What a wonderfully relaxing experience. Staying on this side of the island was interesting as you get the beauty of the beach with less foot traffic and I would imagine, during the season, less noise. Accessing the beach from this condo was particularly easy and private. The view from the deck was ever-changing and featured container ships, shrimp boats, dolphins and even a wind surfer. Would recommend to any couple or single!

A charming condo with a fabulous view in a quiet complex that is steps from the beach and has a nice pool. This second story end unit condo has a panoramic view of the Savannah River complete with shrimp boats, dolphins and kayakers. We spent hours sitting on the balcony enjoying the sights. The kitchen is tiny but efficient and they have provided everything you could need. All in all a perfect getaway. You will not be disappointed.

This condo is very nice and perfect getaway for a couple. The unit is very nicely decorated and maintained. The bed was really comfortable. Kitchen, shower, sofa, tv's, all excellent. The best feature is the view from the porch and the proximity to the beach. There is nothing better than waking up with the sun and taking a walk on the beach. thanks for the memories.

As so seldom happens in real life, "Sunkissed" was exactly as I had pictured it. No unwelcome surprises, just sunshine and the beach. It was quiet and beautiful. Loved the balcony! A perfect base camp for our forays into Savannah, which were far fewer than we expected becuase we didn't want to leave the condo! People on Tybee are great! Thank you Patti!

We spent two happy weeks in SunKissed, a clean, well supplied and nicely decorated condo with a relaxing, sweeping view of the ocean. It was fun just sitting on the balcony watching the dolphins and the many different kinds of ships making their way into Savannah Harbour. We enjoyed the easily accessible beach, and the well kept tennis courts and pool. There is even a bike storage area if you rent bikes, as we did, or bring your own. We had everything we needed at SunKissed. It is a bright corner unit with a wonderful shower, 2 flat screen TVs complete with a selection of movies, and a very comfortable king sized bed. There is also everything you need in the kitchen for meal preparation which we appreciated, given our longer stay. Hello everyone, We spent a wonderful weekend in Tybee in August, and it was an amazing trip. The weather was great, the town was beautiful and the condo was wonderful. Sunkissed is located in a great place, close to everything and right on the beach. There is always a beautiful view off of the balcany, you can see dolphins playing in the water, the big boats passing by or an amazing sunset. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be staying here again this upcomming year.

We are so happy that we found this condo! We had stayed at a B&B the previous year (when we got engaged) and had an ok time, but this time we had no compaints! Patti's condo is beautiful, comfortable, and homey. We had everything we could possibly need and more. Patti is a gracious hostess and just an overall sweet woman! The condo was quiet, clean, and obviously well kept and loved. We will come back and most definately stay at sunkissed! The shower is EXCELLENT!!! This is an excellent condo for a couple wanting a vacation from reality! WE LOVED IT!! See you next year!!!

A Sunkissed Weekend

Patti is a great host and her Sunkissed Condo is super nice. My wife and I stayed four days including the 4th of July and we had a ball. Located in a secure gated complex it has easy access to various eating establishments and about a 20 minute drive to Savannah and other historical sites in the local area. Her Condo, a second story end unit faces the beach and there’s no noise from a very nice pool area, nor are you stuck in the middle between units which makes this one a very special and peaceful place to stay. The balcony overlooks the sand dunes and nothing blocks your view and we watched dolphins playing every day, shrimp boats plying their trade and other watercraft coming and going. The interior is nicely decorated and Very Clean and has the BEST KING BED we’ve ever slept on, a very cozy unit with comfortable seating, a nice clean kitchen and you will not believe the super bathroom! Just a Great Unit for a couple who wants to get away for a few days, the week or more. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Make sure to ask Patti for some good places to eat.
