Description of the Tybee Island vacation condo rental
Sit back on the balcony, in a pretty tall table and chairs, and watch the big ships, shrimp boats, shore birds, and schools of dolphins playing and "fishing" as they escort the shrimp boats back to the dock.
This is a gated community on Tybee's north beach. No parking meters; no crowds; no noise--just pure natural surroundings, provided by mother nature.
We are family friendly--comfortable queen-size bed; new sofa sleeper in the living room; 2 kid-size bunk beds in the hall.
Kitchen is well-equipped to fix a picnic lunch or cook a meal. Full-size stove and fridge; dishwasher; built-in microwave; Keurig coffee maker.
Linens, towels, beach towels, soap and paper products are furnished.
Tybee Island lets you escape. There's plenty of peace and quiet to breathe the fresh salt air, wiggle your toes in the sand, and watch the dolphins play.
Area Information
Sav. Beach & Racquet Club is a gated community, with a large pool (+ kiddie pool) on the beach, and 3 tennis courts.

Relaxing Stay

The condo is contemporary and bright. It was so nice to have the linens and towels provided. Wonderful balcony for breakfast and sunsets if you're not on the beach. We were never disturbed by noisy neighbors. Small drawbacks were no stereo/cd player or radio so no relaxing music. Owner should delete these from the amenities list. Also, the 2 tiny charcoal grills are shared by dozens of units and are far from this unit. More importantly, the A/C worked great! Would definitely consider staying here again but will bring a cd player with me.

My family had the best time staying at Tybee. The condo was perfect! It was very very clean! I have a 2 yr old and was not worried about him playing in the floor or even in the tub. Everything was spotless!! The bunkies they have for kids, or a skinny adult, are just the right size. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook any meal. I had even forgot my coffee and there was some there. Looks like a lot of things have been recently remodeled. Nice cabinets, sink, tub and fridge. I felt very safe being in a gated community and anywhere on the property. Our balcony overlooked the pool and we could see the dolphins swimming almost any time of the day in the bay. The pool area was very nice as well. There were 2 men that cleaned up every night when the pool closed and then checked everything before they opened it. I loved the kiddie pool, it was great to let my 2 yr old play in. The beach is nice.....its not a big beach with big waves. Its where the ocean comes into the rivers, but great for a relaxing time. I would recommend this condo to anyone that wants to visit Tybee Island. Susan was very nice and made sure we were having a good time and were happy with the condo...had we had any problems, I know we could have counted on her to make it right! Hope to come again next year!!

Excellent Vacation

The condo was great! We spent two days relaxing on the beach and two days exploring in Savannah since it it only 17 miles away. This condo is in a great location and in a nice quiet area. We biked to south beach and ate at many of the local restaurants. I could not have asked for a better vacation.

Beautiful Condo- great water and pool view

This condo was exactly as the pictures on their webpage shows. It was newly renovated, and very well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. The view, although it was a side view, was great. You could see the water, ships and dolphins, and the pool. The resort was very clean, and the guys cleaned the pool everyday, and that was impressive to me. It was quiet, and low key. The river in front of the condo had small waves, and you could set up your umbrella without being right on top of someone. You could walk up the beach, to the right and around the bend, and you came to the big waves, where the river and ocean meet. Kids loved that. We went up there in the afternoons to play in the waves. My son and husband, fished everyday, right at the condo, and caught tons of fish.We loved Tybee.....

The condo was as shown on FRBO, and the view was better. We enjoyed the pool, the quiet North End, and especially the balcony. It was a restful, enjoyable week. Our 10th wedding anniv was made extra special at Tybee Island. Accomodations were good, clean and friendly location. Views were wonderful. Locals very nice and inviting. We have visited several other beaches, and this one was tops. Looking forward to visiting again, will consider this condo again.

Just what we needed!

We loved our stay on Tybee. The condo was fabulous, room enough for 4, very clean and stocked with everything - including beach toys. The view is amazing and the beach was so peaceful and away from the crowds. We went to Savannah for the day and had a great time, but couldn't wait to return to the beach. We hope to be back soon.

We rented the condo from Susan Whitfield who was very pleasant and helpful. She gave us extra beach chairs and names of resturants to go to.Great view of the water, ships and dolphins. I have never seen so many dolphins before!! The tours of Savannah and food were great. Especially Paula Deans. The peach cobbler was sooo good!! I would reccomend this trip to anyone. I stayed here for a weekend with my sisters for my 40th birthday and it couldn't have been better! Great location too! The condo is small but very comfortable and perfect for what we had planned. The leasing agent was very helpful and accomodating. We would definately stay there again!
