Description of the Tybee Island vacation condo rental

Our balcony is a vacation in itself! Sit back and be entertained by big ships, shrimp boats, shore birds, and schools of dolphins playing and "fishing" as they escort the shrimp boats back to the dock.

In the evenings, our sunsets are as beautiful as any in the world. This photo of the sunset was taken by honeymooners last summer from our balcony.

Starfish condo is the vacation home of Judye Gunnells, a grandmother from Macon, Georgia, whose whole family has discovered the beauty and uniqueness of Tybee's north beach. No parking meters; no crowds; no noise--just pure natural surroundings, provided by mother nature.

Starfish lets you escape. There's plenty of peace and quiet to breathe the fresh salt air, wiggle your toes in the sand, and watch the dolphins play. Starfish is unit B312, located at Savannah Beach & Racquet Club, a gated community on Tybee's north beach.

LET US PAMPER YOU. This is a beautifully remodeled condo for those who like nice things: comfortable queen-size bed with memory foam topper; new sofa sleeper(also with memory foam); two kid-size bunkies; 2 flat-screen TVs (32" & 19") with cable and DVD players; ceramic tile shower with glass doors; breakfast bar; well-equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, microwave, icemaker; tall furniture on the balcony for dining and relaxing.

Linens, towels, soap and paper products are furnished, along with beach towels and beach chairs.

There's also a small video library, as well as paperback books & magazines.

So bring your bathing suits and come on down. We try to make sure you'll have everything you need for a perfect Tybee vacation.

Tybee lighthouse is nearby; kayak and jet ski rentals; fishing piers; dolphin tours; many good restaurants; 17 miles from historic downtown Savannah.

Sav. Beach & Racquet Club is a gated community, with a large pool (+ kiddie pool) on the beach, and 3 tennis courts.

This was a bueantiful condo, small but quite adequate for your needs. It was clean and equipped very well and set in a wonderful location. Tybee Island was a great place to be (obviously must be busy in summer)plenty of restaurants/bars and the seafood in the area was top notch. LizzieAnn

My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was WONDERFUL! We enjoyed watching the ships, the birds, and especially the dolphins! We loved Savannah, Saint Simons Island, and of course Tybee. We also visited Hilton Head, which neither of us really cared for. The Pirate House and Paula Deans were excellent! Cant wait to come back!!

We rented the condo from Susan Whitfield who was very pleasant and helpful. She gave us extra beach chairs and names of resturants to go to.Great view of the water, ships and dolphins. I have never seen so many dolphins before!! The tours of Savannah and food were great. Especially Paula Deans. The peach cobbler was sooo good!! I would reccomend this trip to anyone. I'm sure this will be a place that we will visit again!! Sharon Knoxville Tn

This was a wonderful place. The condo is absolutely charming,and clean. The view is beautiful. Watching the Dolphins swim by from the balcony or on the shore was great. I will return. We had a memorable time.

The accommodations were perfect for our needs. The agent, Susan, answered all my questions and was available everytime I called. Surprisingly for it's size, the condo was quite comfortable for the four of us--and that's not easy for four women. We enjoyed the views from the balcony; bird, dolphin, and ship watching; the amenities; and of course, the beach. Also very peaceful and quiet. something not often found when travelling! I like to sleep in a dark room, so we put an extra towel over the window. Invite me back anytime.

I stayed here for a weekend with my sisters for my 40th birthday and it couldn't have been better! Great location too! The condo is small but very comfortable and perfect for what we had planned. The leasing agent was very helpful and accomodating. We would definately stay there again!
