Description of the Tybee Island vacation condo rental
We discovered Tybee by accident on a road trip and started returning as often as possible. After staying in many places we found the gated community of Savannah Beach and Racquet Club was the primo peaceful location.
This CORNER 1st floor beachfront is the very best! You get a sense of being right on the water from the kitchen, living room & balcony. Watching the dolphins play, freighters passing and shrimp boats (which frequently anchor nearby attracting even more dolphin) is mesmerizing. Check out the location on the building diagram, it's 121A.
The separate bedroom has a comfy queen sized bed with a memory foam topper and a flat screen tv. Being on the corner means an extra window in the bedroom and kitchen making this condo brighter and airier than interior units.
The living room has a queen sized pull out sofa and a 50inch flat screen tv which is great for movies & sports; plus my favorite recliner sits right by a gorgeous vista window so you can relax & take in that PRICELESS VIEW.
This is a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, pans and small appliances. Tybee has tons of nice restaurants but eating in can save lots on expenses!
1st floor makes access to your car and loading/unloading easy with only one short flight of stairs.
The swimming pools and beach access walkway are approximately 100ft away which is perfect because they are very close but don't intrude on your privacy.
No pets are allowed and no smoking inside but you can smoke on the balcony with the doors closed.
Come see for yourself and enjoy the awesomeness of the Savannah area and especially Tybee Island.

Historic Savnannah is only 15-20 minutes away and is full of history and fine dining.
Tybee itself has Ft Pulaski, a wonderful public beach & pier, many many fine restaurants and our famous lighthouse adjacent to Ft Screvens. The tour there is like a hidden jewel because it is extremely fun & interesting and quite inexpensive.

My wife & I stayed here while celebrating our anniversary. While we spent most of our time in Savannah, this place was just perfect for us! Everything we needed was there. Clean, very comfortable and I got some great pics right from the balcony. Super easy check in & the owner was great to work with.

This property is in a great spot for watching dolphins play every morning and evening. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The condo was clean and was like staying at home. Everything you could need was available. Bed was comfortable. There was not a big crowd of people and everyone was so nice. We will go again to visit this great spot.

Rest and Relaxation on Tybee Island

If you are looking for peace and quiet with a nice view of the ocean and dunes, this is the place. The space was small and cozy, just enough room for my family of three. It was well stocked with everything you may need, including lots of towels. The owner was easy to work with, very friendly and informative. And offered the unit at an affordable rate for an oceanfront view. I so enjoyed the comfortable chair with a window view of the ships, birds, and dolphins for a stress-free 5-day vacation.

This was our first trip to Tybee Island and we loved the island and the condo. The dolphins, the boats, wonderful restaurants, very nice people and just loved everything. Will definitely go again. Thank you Kat and hope to be able to visit again soon.

I rented this unit with my young son for a few days on his spring break. I don't think the description of this place does enough to describe how truly great the location is! I worried that being on the first floor of this complex would mean that our water views would be limited, but they were really great. In fact, there are only a limited number of units directly on the end of the complex facing the water, and this is one of them. Most of the units have an angled balcony, facing the parking lots, but providing kind of a sideways view of the water. This unit faces directly toward the beach. Also, the location of this unit couldn't be more convenient, as we were able to park our car just a few steps away from the door to unload our stuff. There are three levels to this complex, and if there's an elevator, I didn't see it, so it was nice not to have to haul things up all those stairs. The location on the north end of Tybee was great. It really was quiet, kind of off the beaten path, but still very convenient to everything. It was less than a mile to the north beach parking area, and although we drove to save time, it would have been a very quick bike ride, and not too bad of a walk. The lighthouse and museum are nearby, too. I almost forgot that we were facing the Savannah river, and not the ocean itself, because the river is very wide at this point, and the beach combing was every bit as interesting here as it was over on the east side of the island. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because it really is a small unit. However, it is laid out very cleverly, maximizing the use of the space, and there was plenty of room for the two of us. I think that my whole family of four could be comfortable in it, but it would be tight. But the truth is, who really needs more than a place to sleep and shower in a place as wonderful as Tybee Island? I would definitely rent this place again!
