Developer’s own luxurious modern log estate perched at the top of the mountain, 3,050 feet above sea level. This gorgeous home sits on almost 6 acres within a 1,200 acre private mountain community and nature preserve. Enjoy breathtaking 60-mile Blue Ridge Mountain Views from the 1,000 square foot deck and hot tub, master suite and soaring great room.

With 2300 square feet total living space the great room features, 30 foot ceilings, 30 foot custom stone fireplace, 42” HD Plasma television with DVD, home theater and DirecTV HD service. Sofa pulls out to Queen bed for additional sleeping capacity. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless Subzero refrigerator, Wolf range with downdraft, stainless steel dishwasher with stainless tub, stainless steel oven, microwave and commercial sink, granite counter tops and back-splashes. Dishes, cookware, all utensils and linens provided. Separate dining area.

First floor master suite features spacious, spectacular master bath with Jacuzzi tub and separate, glass-enclosed shower and large walk in closet. King bed with luxury linens, 42” HD LDC television with DVD, home theater and DirecTV HD service. 2 additional bedrooms with queen beds, luxury linens and large closets on the second floor. Second floor also has a full bath with glass enclosed shower.

Over 1,000 square feet of deck space with stainless steel commercial grill, patio furniture and 8-person hot tub with amazing panoramic mountain views.

Rental rate includes maid service at checkout, free high-speed wireless internet throughout, free long distance telephone service, and all local & state taxes. Pre-stocking of gourmet food, beverage & wine available at additional cost.

Rental rate also includes access to community lake stocked with native trout, lake-side lodge and fishing. Lake-side lodge includes indoor and outdoor fireplaces, indoor and outdoor seating areas, kitchen with refrigerator, cook-top, microwave, coffeemaker, dishes, cookware & cooking utensils, and flatware. Lodge has 2 bathrooms, outdoor showers, and expansive deck space overlooking lake.

Area Description

1200 acre private wildlife preserve, access to private community lakeside lodge on spring-fed lake stocked with trout for fishing, lake-side beach, walking trails, and wildlife viewing-all onsite! This cabin is absolutely perfect! The view is amazing, especially from the hot tub. I must also comment on the staff at Walnut Springs, because they go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. My thanks to each of you! I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway. We'll definitely be back!
