This newly built in December 2012 Cottage, provides an airy two level living space with beautiful local hardwood floors through out, Honduran custom made furniture, two bedrooms with double beds on the main floor, 2 bathrooms. A wooden stairway leads to the second level with polished hardwood cathedral ceiling with 2 double bed private space, private balcony overlooking the bay. The cottage is Ideal for two couples or a group up to 8 people and children under age 8 stay free. A fully furnished cottage to your complete privacy.
The Island of Utila is famous for Scuba diving/ snorkeling and known as the cheapest place in the world to get PADI certification. The worlds second largest barrier reef runs alongside Utila. The island also has the largest local population of whale sharks and a research centre dedicated to studying them. The main language spoken is English but most islanders speak Spanish. Where instead of having a bottled juice, here you enjoy the authentic taste of natural fresh fruit juice.

La Mayur is located past Mango Inn restaurant, just off BICA/ Quiebra Piedra, approx 0.5 Km away or 6 minutes walk, close enough to be in town but far away from the hustle and bustle of the town to allow for privacy. For the adventurous, enjoy riding the horses up on the hills
Exploring the island by bicycle offers gentle exercise and available at a nominal rent. For the less challenged, drive around in the golf carts, two wheelers, Tuk Tuk taxis
Nature walks along the trails will take you to the Pumpkin Hill, the highest point on the island. Guided Island tours of the Quebra Piedra Botanical Garden, Utila Ecosystem, Robinson Crusoe cave, Fresh water caves, the Iguana Center, Pumpkin Hill are available at a nominal cost.
