Description of the Val David vacation home rental

The Cedars are located on spacious private grounds beside the tree-lined shore of Lac Ouellette in Val Morin, Quebec. Just 200 feet from the cycling and ski trail known as The Linear Park / Le P ??tit Train du Nord. This is the ideal location to enjoy all that the Laurentians have to offer. We have basketball and badminton on the property and the beach on Lac Raymond is just a five-minute walk from the cottages.

The Cedars offers three types of accommodations:

Cedars House accommodates up to 8 adults. This wonderful 150-year-old Canadian style Richelieu ??piece sur piece ?? home, was reconstructed on this site in 1987. The house is furnished with beautiful antiques and the comfort of modern day luxuries. Cedar House has a wonderful screened in porch for summer nights of stargazing, long veranda and a beautiful lake view.

Cedar Cottage accommodates up to 4 adults. This Canadian Style home, built in 2001, has French windows and cathedral ceiling. Includes a wood burning stove, modern amenities and a wonderful, warm atmosphere. You will find this country cottage the perfect place to disconnect and reconnect. The sounds of the running stream outside your door helps make this a relaxing home away from home.

Cedar Getaway accommodates up to 4 adults. This cozy 1 bedroom retreat is the perfect spot for getting away, while enjoying all the conveniences you ??ve come to expect. With a lovely view on Lac Ouellette, cozy wood stove, warm and comfortable furnishings and a small covered deck you are all set for your relaxing getaway. The Cedar Getaway is the perfect base for all of your Laurentian adventures.

Le Petit Train du Nord Linear Park

Le Petit Train du Nord Linear Park is a 200 km trail that stretches over the old train tracks from Saint Jerome to Mont Laurier. Whether you ??re cycling, cross-country skiing or walking, the trail in the Val Morin area is said to be the most beautiful part. Here you will find easy access to lovely lakes and river spots to relax by and nearby villages to explore.


Val Morin

Val Morin is a lovely little town in the heart of Quebec ??s spectacular Laurentian Mountains that is less then 1-hour drive from Montreal. We are only a short 30 minutes to Mont Tremblant and less than 15 minutes to St. Sauveur, Ste. Adele, Ste. Marguerite du Lac Masson and Ste. Agathe. Also, we are just 5 minutes to Val David. No doubt, we are the heart of the Laurentians.
